I usually just stick to laundry detergent and fabric softener when I was clothes but this odor shield is pretty good. I was able to get this for free to test from influenster and it turns out to be a great product and it does what it says. I noticed that my clothes are smelling much better so I will definitely get this in the future. This review is my own opinion on this product and hasn't been influenced.

I'm absolutely in love with this product! My clothes tend to get a funky smell after sitting in my drawer or in my gym bag, but with this product, my clothes smelled so nice and remained smelling nice, even days after they had been washed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the downy fresh is amazing the best smell at first it smells a little fruity then fresh I washed my sheets with it last week. and the smell is still amazing still smells fresh as if I had just washed it that day I am very impressed by the downy fresh beads. my husband loves the smell and he never cared for things smelling fresh so when he was sniffing his pillow and saying that he loved the smell and that we needed to go and get more to do the laundry and be our number one product to use when I do laundry it's amazing.

The product smells wonderful, even after the wash is done. I have used it on clothes, sheets, and towels which it has worked well on all. It did especially well on mildewy smelling towels that sat out in the sun after a day at the beach. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for an extra scent boost for their laundry.

This product smells wonderful, and the smell stays with the clothes long after its washed. Even after a week of using the same towel, the smell from the Downy Fresh Protect beads still remains. This product also didnt limit the absorbency of the towels like many other liquid fabric softeners would.Although I did receive these Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free, all opinions are my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downy Fresh and Protect Beads were totally awesome!!! So easy to use, smelled great and continued smelling great for days afterward. I just added it in the washer with my clothes and washed and dried as normal. I have 4 kids and 2 dogs, I keep my couches covered with blankets for easier cleaning and to protect the furniture from stains. I washed those blankets with the Downy Fresh and Protect Beads and it totally impressed me! My entire living room smelled wonderful for days! I love this product!!!

The smell of the beads is really good. I used it with my color clothes and as they were washing you could walk by the washing machine and you could feel the smell. Even after putting the clothes in the dryer with different smelling dryer sheets you could feel the nice smell while folding the clothes. So the smell really gets into the clothes so that it gets released with time as you use the clothes. I got this product for free but my opinions are my own.

I have used the other brands of smelly crystals (as I like to call them-lol) and I like them. They made my clothes smell great, but I never could notice the smell unless it was right after I pulled the clothes out of the wash. It wasn't very long lasting. These smell awesome, and I went for a run in the clothes after they had been washed a few days prior. I would smell the Downy as I was running! These are definitely long lasting, and I would really recommend them for clothes that you tend to be hard on, such as work out clothes or even your kids play clothes! I just used some in my wash again, and now my whole garage smells nice! I received these as a part of a Voxbox through Influenster to test out for my review. All opinions are mine.

This product was very easy to use and smells so good! I've never used any type of odor shield or scent booster before in my wash, but I'm completely hooked now! I'm going to pick up some more of this and also tell everyone I know to try it! I especially liked using this product with towels, because it's so hard to keep towels smelling fresh and clean.
