I love these beads! I was totally satisfied with just detergent alone but I'm spoiled now. The scent is so refreshing and last a long time. I use these for my bedding and it's a lot harder to get out of bed nowadays. Disclaimer: I received these complimentary for testing purposes. This is my honest opinion.

I haven't used Downy April Fresh in years. It used to be my favorite but there was a change to the formula and I tried others. I decided to give it another go as I was tired of my current scent and bought these beads. Wow, they actually smell bad. I can't describe it, but it's toward the end of the scent, it's sort of sweet and sour, it's definitely not fresh.

Okay, this stuff is amazing! Hope this isn't TMI, but I used these on my down comforter and it was great! My boyfriend and I often wake up sweaty in the morning, and our comforter was starting to smell like it. Also, our cat peed on our bed about a year ago but the residual scent stuck in the matress had grossly made the comforter smell some too. We washed it with these beads and it became SO much better! Ultra fresh! These would be perfect for loads of gym or sports laundry, heavily soiled laundry, stuff that's people or pets have gotten sick on or had accidents on...it really knocks out stinky odors completely! Really happy with this. I got some complimentary to try but all my opinions are my own!

The downy fresh protect is so amazing. The product is super easy to use, just toss them in the washing machine with the rest of your laundry goodies. Your laundry smells so wonderful, and smells great for weeks too. I really like using it on my linens and towels .

The Downy Fresh Protect is a hard working product that left my smelly clothes smelling practically brand new after coming out of the wash! With it being summer in Florida of all places, it gets extremely hot and I sweat a lot sadly. Sweat is something that can really stink up clothes, even after they have been washed, but after trying out this product as a free sample, I will definitely be going out to buy some more of this product the next time I make a trip to the store!

I really liked this product. I used it during my color wash cycle. I loved the smell immediately and love the fact that you can smell it through the packaging. The downy beads leave your clothes smelling good and feeling super soft. I tried this product for free but this is my honest opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used it with my regular tide detergent and used just a little (wasnt sure if I would like it or not) and once my clothes were done, it scented up the entire laundry room. Needless to say that the beads does what its supposed to do and the botanical mist smells magical. All my towels and hand towels scent up the bathroom with the beads fragrance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm pretty sure you all know now that I get to try all sorts of products out for FREE from BzzAgent. So when they offered to let me try out laundry products, I jumped at the chance. With the hubs and 3 kids in the house, we go through a LOT of laundry and every free wash counts. And when I say a lot of laundry, I mean me and my husband work out everyday and work and go to ball games, so there's about six outfits a day. The eight year old has school and softball and jammies, so there's three more sets of clothes. The three year old has daycare and t-ball and jammies, so tack on another three outfits, and the two year old, well, what can I say? He's a two year old. My husband works in car sales, so he is outside all day, and, at least in Texas, say goodbye to spring showers and hello to hot humid summer day temps already. This equals stinky shirts, socks, and shoes at the end of a long day. I tried out the Downy Fresh Protect In-Wash Odor Shield first. You put your detergent in first, then sprinkle the Downy in the bottom of the washer before you put the clothes in and start the washer. I made sure I washed one of the hub's shirts in there since he is outside all day, and it's been nice and muggy and hot outside. The clothes came out of the washer smelling nice. They came out of the dryer with a very soft, very subtle clean scent. The smell was not quite as strong as I usually prefer (I personally like to use a lot of the Downy Unstoppables and dryer bars), but nice nonetheless. That's the only reason I give the product four stars instead of five. The hub's shirt still smelled nice too when I gave him his welcome home hug after a long day at work in the sun. I can't say so much about the actual hubs himself, but at least the shirt still smelled clean... :)

I have received so many compliments since using these beads. Every time I walk by a coworker they say I smell nice. I work in a restaurant. It gets really hot and we get really sweaty, so it's nice to hear that I still smell good after a long day at work. Seriously, these things are amazing! I received the product for free to review, but I am honestly in love with these beads. I always skip past these products when I'm at the store because i figure my detergent is enough, but I will be buying some ASAP!

Thank you for helping to make my laundry so wonderful smelling and soft, the product is amazing. My kids all laugh when I told them Downy Fresh Protect was like deodorant for your clothes, they love it and are not laughing anymore.
