[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Slipped disc in my back and compressed vertebrae in my neck- all the drs, chiropractor and physical therapy have been ineffective. The only change came from sleeping on this bed every night. Absolute game changer.

This mattress is VERY firm, it works well for my husband's back but too firm for me, luckily, I read the reviews and one person stated the mattress topper solved the probuand it really did! However, if there are two of you, I would highly recommend getting the split to keep everyone happy, especially when one wants the head up and the other would like it flat.

My previous mattresses were a Sealy coil/box spring and most recently a Simmons Beauty Rest coil/box spring which I had for almost 10 years . In the last six to eight months with the Simmons, I started feeling back pain as the middle of the mattress started to sag. The first couple of nights on the Tempur-Pedic felt foriegn compared to what I'd been used to for a decade; now that I've been sleeping on it for 10 weeks, I can easily say that it's the most comfortable mattress I've ever owned. At first, I wondered if the medium Hybird was too firm, but no; after less than a week, I now sleep very, very good every single night. Yes, Tempur-Pedic mattresses are expensive but they are worth the price, I have no regrets. I work a lot of hours all the time, averaging about 5 1/2-6 hours of sleep 6 of 7 days a week. I needed something really comfortable allowing me to fall asleep quick in the hours I have which is what the Tempur-Pedic offers. Oh yah, I have the pillows too, which are very nice.

This enhanced our confidence in recommending the product to our family and friends and this resulted in a relative purchasing the same product this week. Sleep mode is incredibly comfortable, especially combined with the tempurpedic pillow. This is a bed we use as a relaxation escape from everyday stress. It is truly wonderful. Highly recommend. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I genuinely thought that waking up stiff and achy was age-related (I'm only in my 30's), and that tossing and turning all night was a personal problem. I've bought 4 mattresses in my adult life and nothing has ever made a dent in my terrible sleep, and for the first time in my life, after using this mattress- I wake up refreshed!! It sleeps cool, so I don't find myself sprawling all around, trying to find the cold spots anymore, and my joints don't ache at all! I'm replacing all of my mattresses in my other rooms with this immediately. I didn't even know a mattress could make this big of a difference.

Almost 30 days in on our new mattress. Pleasantly surprised with comfort of a firm since I am a side sleeper. Adjustable base is great for tv watching & congested nights when suffering from a cold or allergies. Hubby has not complained of back pain so far. Would definitely recommend to others.

This is the most comfortable I have been lying down in years. The cushioning top is just enough for me with the mattress being firm and supportive and the pillows are a match made in Heaven. I would highly recommend this product for you lovers of firm surfaces for sleeping. Saggy mattresses hurt me badly, this one will not.

This mattress seemed fantastic in the store and not at all too firm. First night it was extremely firm(hard). Have been sleeping on it three weeks and it is still extremely hard. Wake up with sore back, ribs, hips and shoulders. I would not recommend. Plan to return it after the 30 days. In the meantime cannot last more than an hour on this bed before moving to another room.

I slept on my previous mattress for years and nights were spent turning from one side to the other when the discomfort would awaken me; getting up in the mornings came to require an increasingly involved process of stretching before I could stand. Those times are thankfully gone now...the firm ProAdapt may initially seem too firm but within days, I could sleep throughout the night and getting up was one simple movement.
