We've had the bed for 5 months and my chronic back pain is gone. Before I got this bed I would go to bed in constant pain due to arthritis. Since I got this bed nightly back pain is gone. It took me awhile to get used to the feel (a couple weeks) but once I was used to it, it was great! This bed is worth the price.

Before we purchased this mattress, I would wake up after about 3-4 hours with very sore hips. I don't have that anymore. I sleep through the entire night very comfortably. We bought the split king and really like that we can roll around and not disturb the other person.

What is so wonderful about my Tempur-ProAdapt mattress is that it contours to the shape of my body. There are times when I do not lay my head on my Tempur-Pedic pillows, and that is absolutely fine too if you ask me. So far, I own two mattress from Tempur-Pedic and I know without a shadow of a doubt that it is going to last me more than 20 years. With care, weekly laundry-washing, and the soft touch of Tempur-Pedic bedsheets and pillow covers, I know for a fact that IT IS GOING TO TAKE CARE OF ME! In 2 years I've gone through 4 beds. Tempurpedic is my 5th and last. It was a daunting journey after having a bed for 23yrs and it was time for a new one. The problem was trying to adapt to all the new memory foam beds after being on a traditional bed. All I can say is stick with it for at least 2 months. Your body will eventually adapt. With my first foam bed 2 years ago it took me 6 months to adapt. Then I traded it in for a different foam bed due to a defect and that bed caused a major hip injury to flare up. Now 2 beds later I have the Temperpedic and I wish it was my first foam bed. Have to say Temperpedic's foam is completely different than any other I have slept on in the last 2 years. It took me about 4 weeks to adapt and I just stuck with it and now I can't wait to crawl into bed! It's a feeling I can't describe it's just different and my hip is finally happy. My husband also loves it!! I wont go back to any other bed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I have been using this Tempur-pedicure Pro-Adapt soft mattress for about one week now. This mattress has extreme memory foam. When you sleep on it you do feel yourself sink down into the mattress and conform to your body. It also has a cooling top which helps you stay cooler at night if you are a hot sleeper. This is a nice mattress and it does feel good but i feel It is pretty expensive! If you are looking for a quality mattress and have the money to try this I would recommend trying it out. I have received this mattress for free for giving an honest review on this mattress.

We always love tempurpedic mattresses for their quality and great for our backs. We are waiting for our cal king mattress to wear out so we can replace it with another tempurpedic mattress soon.

I had my previous tempurpedic for 17 years and it was time to get a new one. I was really undecided between the medium and the firm. In the store the medium felt too soft and the firm felt too firm. I have alot of spinal back and neck issues so I decided to go with the firm. I figured I could always put a mattress topper on it if necessary. I'm so glad I went with the firm. No topper needed. It took about a week to get used to the firmness but now I feel like I like the support of the firmness and the conforming nature of the top layers. After sleeping on the firm now for about a month, I feel confident that the medium would definitely have been too soft for my back. For reference purposes I weigh about 230 lbs. I feel the upper layers contouring within the first few minutes after getting on the mattress. Although it's a pricey mattress compared to others, I feel it's worth it and I'm glad I went with the tempurpedic again. Definitely also glad I went with the firm.

Not as soft as in the store. But even though it feels hard - there are no aches and pains in the morning. I just like the feeling of snuggling in. I had a tempuredic topper which was soft like heaven. Thought bed would be the same. But again, nicely adjustable and absolutely no pains in the morning.

I have always struggled to find a comfortable mattress as a side and stomach sleeper who has back and hip issues. With my previous mattress, I would wake up each morning with aches and pains, particularly in my lower back and hips. I have slept on this Tempur-Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid for several nights now and I have been shocked by how refreshed I have been feeling in the morning. My back is feeling much better throughout the day and I've not had to take any pain relief medication since switching to this mattress. I really like the combination of both coils and the TEMPUR material. I feel like it really does adapt to my body to relieve pressure in all the right places to help alleviate that pain I was feeling. I also have noticed that I don't get as hot at night, which I think is due to the "cooling technology" in the outer layer (which I have learned is removable and machine washable!!) My husband has also mentioned that my snoring has improved and I'm not tossing and turning all night long like "a fish out of water" in his words. He has loved the improvement in his sleep as well. Overall, I am a huge fan of this mattress and planning to now purchase one for my mother who has similar sleep issues as I suffered from. I will be sure to update my review in a few months and also share my mom's experience.
