Hands off operation

I bought it less than a month ago and it doesn't work. Can't get anyone to fix it

Problems

I am very happy with this unit, have used it twice worked very well

the two men did a great job

we are satisfied with our generator and it has performed when we had a power outage

good product

We purchased it about 2 years ago and it pretty much has failed us when the need arises during storms or other weather in climate conditions. This was bought because I have a cpap machine and need it to sleep. Also to protect the contents of our freezer and fridge.

Poor choice on my part.

We moved to NC into an area where there are not that many power outages, but having lived through hurricane Sandy and no power for 6 days, we wanted peace of mind for when and if there are some. About 3 months after moving into our new home with generator, there was construction work being done that caused us to lose power. We were it would be back in a couple of hours, 6 hours later, our Generac was humming along nicely. I have read where some owners have had problems during outages. I asked the local dealer about this and they indicated that many don't do the required initial oil change. We are going on close to a year and the generator does its test run without issue.
