Just recently purchased our whole house generator from Beacon Electric, to ensure power available during numerous storms and hurricanes on the Gulf Coast. Installation was completed within weeks of purchase by a very professional team. We had compared Generac against proposals for 2 other whole house systems and they provided best value for the money.

Kent done a great from start to finish. He explained every thing from quoting to starting up and testing the generator. Alan ran the installation crew and workers and stayed with them the whole time they were installing the generator and transfer switch. Kent explained maint. For the generator and set up the free monitor that came with the generator and has it send progress reports to him and my iPad. He went out of the way to make sure everything in needed was took care of.

We live in rural area, known for electric utility random outages, so we decided to get ready for the next outage. Our 24KW generator with automatic transfer switch powers up our whole house; HVAC, water heater, range, oven, dryer, well pump, security system, lights, TVs, etc. We invited proposals from a couple contractors. We talked with a few of Balanced Electric's other customers and they gave us a thumbs up recommendation. Our project was done in about 8 weeks, and we're now ready for winter weather. I hate losing electrical power — no heat or cooling, no lights, no Internet. In the past, I’ve lived in areas where power could go off for days. No more! I had a 22 kw Generac installed a year ago. The peace of mind it provides is priceless. When the lights go out, I count to 6, and I hear the generator start. Then I count to 15, and the lights come on. During the last year, we’ve had four multi-hour power outages. The Generac has never failed: Within 25 seconds, power is back on every time. I will never live without a whole home generator again.

LAST MONTH, CHRISTMAS EVE MORNING I BELIEVE WE HAD A VERY SERIOUS COLD FRONT COME THROUGH TENNESSEE, 18 & 20 BELOW IN SOME AREAS, AND FOR TENNESSEE THAT’S PRETTY MUCH UNHEARD OF. WE WERE HAVING ROLLING OUTAGES EVERY 30 mins. WAS SUPPOSED EVERY HOUR, IN EACH GRID, MY GENERAC WAS PREFORMING FLAWLESSLY, BUT I WAS STILL CONCERNED ABOUT OUR APPLIANCES, HAVING JUST BOUGHT THIS HOME BECAUSE OF THE FLOOD THAT HAD CAME TROUGH WAVERLY, TN. ABOUT A YEAR AND A HALF EARLIER, WE HAD LOST EVERYTHING AND HAD TO REPLACE WITH NEW IN THE NEW HOUSE WE PURCHASED, SO I WENT OUT TO THE A.T.S AND THREW THE BREAKER, AND OUR 18KW GUARDIAN SERIES RAN LIKE A CHAMP !!!!!! WE HAD TO REPLACE ABSOLUTELY ZERO APPLIANCES, OR THE 2yr. OLD CENTRAL HEAT & AIR UNIT !!!!!! I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH POSITIVE THINGS ABOUT THE GENERAC GENATOR AND THE GENERAC COMPANY, AS WELL A.E.C. LLC ( ALPHA ELECTRIAL CONTRACTORS LLC. ). THIS GENATOR SAVED US THAT DAY !!!!! I RECOMMEND THE GENERAC GENATOR TO EVERYONE, THEY ARE REASONABLY PRICED & A.E.C. LLC. Just had my 24 kw generator installed last week. Installers were outstanding. Other than the start run it has not had the opportunity to perform under an emergency situation. I feel really great about this product. Would highly recommend it to anyone David Carpenter

I live in an older subdivision built many years ago with above ground power running between large fenced yards. This means trees are never trimmed. A storm and we loose power. Wind? Power loss. A calm, cloudless sunny day? Those too thanks to squirrels not understanding transformers. It was late this spring after my third outage in two months, two over 24 hours, that I finally pulled the plug. Install of our 4022 wasn’t until September by Tek Electric, and as predicted the install kept the power stable for months. The first outage was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, 20 minutes before we were supposed to get on the road for a 10 hour drive. Pre-generator, I’d have considered canceling the drive and at a minimum, pre-emptively emptied the fridge and freezer into the garbage since I had a neighbor putting garbage out on Friday. As it was, I just texted the neighbor and asked if he could shut the generator off for a bit to cool down if it was still running in 24 hours. I only needed the generator for just over 2 hours, which I was able to confirm down the road with MobileLink. A much more pleasant experience than either dumping my food or delaying the Thanksgiving drive.

This product is actually what we needed. We now feel comfortable that if the power goes off, we will be OK. My wife needs oxygen. and we cannot afford to lose power. I recommend Generac to anyone considering a whole house generator or any product available from Generac.

The whole process was almost flawless. Installed two weeks ago. The installation crew was professional. Arrived on time. Crew was tow experienced installer and one trainee. Some issues with paperwork back in the office. 100% satisfied when the crew left at the end of the day.
