Generac Guardian Series WiFi Enabled 18, 000-Watt, LP/17, 000-Watt, NG Standby Generator

The generator was only recently installed and too new to report anything about it.

Best move we have made. Since May of 2016, the Generac has been used 8 times in the last 7 months.

Dependable

Our power will go off at least one time a week. I wished I had got one earlier.

This is my 2nd Generac unit. So far operation of this generator has been flawless.

Looks substantial

We purchased it about 2 years ago and it pretty much has failed us when the need arises during storms or other weather in climate conditions. This was bought because I have a cpap machine and need it to sleep. Also to protect the contents of our freezer and fridge.

Poor choice on my part.

We moved to NC into an area where there are not that many power outages, but having lived through hurricane Sandy and no power for 6 days, we wanted peace of mind for when and if there are some. About 3 months after moving into our new home with generator, there was construction work being done that caused us to lose power. We were it would be back in a couple of hours, 6 hours later, our Generac was humming along nicely. I have read where some owners have had problems during outages. I asked the local dealer about this and they indicated that many don't do the required initial oil change. We are going on close to a year and the generator does its test run without issue.
