Does not guard against liquid. Ruined my mattress

Not waterproof

I like the fact your mattress is fully enclosed .

After taking the cover out of the box I found out why it was waterproof. The underlayer is plastic, I spread the cover the length of the bed and it would not work for me. I folded it back up put it in the box and started a return. If you want to hear the plastic crackle every time you roll over then it's for you. Found a better product cost more but I get a quiet sleep without the crackle.

Don't waste your money on this...

I bought this for a queen bed that I knew was in my future, but hadn't ordered yet. When I finally got the 14” thick mattress I had to check whether this cover would fit, and it did. I also noticed that the construction and the packaging states that it keeps bedbugs out. And since I live in the tropics anything that is a Barrier to ANY bugs is a blessing. 
This cover went on easily and its material is THICK enough to NOT Accidentally tear like another thin bedbug cover did when I attempted to put it on an 8 “ mattress!
So I'm very happy with it.
