I bought this about a month ago to protect the 2 new mattresses I purchased hoping for protection, breathability, and temperature regulation. The box says Ultimate Cotton so I unfortunately assumed it was cotton. Putting it on was not a problem. Laying in bed, moving around you can hear the plastic shifting, like a kid wiggling in their bed with the plastic mattress protector on. Then I wondered why my mattress was, after a few days not increasing in size. This protector does NOT let the mattress breathe because it is made of plastic and is NOT breathable. It does NOT keep one's temperature regulated but makes you hot and sweaty. I wish I could return them but I no longer have the box and Meijer won't return them without it even though I have the receipt. I have unzipped them and will use them as long as I can before I pitch them. Might consider their mattress pads if it's really cotton. No, I wouldn't buy again or recommend to anyone.

I've seen a lot of complaints about the protector being to smalI. If this protector doesn't fit your twin mattress, then you probably have a size "twin xl" mattress. It's longer. This happened to me; had to take them back for a refund. Seemed to be a quality product though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You will need two people for this. You stand the mattress upright to put it on because it fits incredibly well with a zip tight closure. The zip tight closure also allows for my sheets to fit over it smoother. I have a 16' deep queen mattress and was very impressed it fit. My toddler sometimes comes into bed at night and most water proof covers can be a pain on my bed because they are so HOT! This one is not like that at all, it is actually somewhat cooling. Great product and great quality

I used to wake up so stuffed up in the nose and chest, and didn't even connect the possibility that it could be from my mattress. I love the fact that this is zippered. There's no slippage or bunching to worry about. The directions and steps are clear. You need two people to put it on easily.

The only bad thing I can say about this cover is that it feels and sounds like paper so it’s something that’s not to comfortable to lay on

I have bad allergies and this really helps me a lot. I am able to sleep much better now. Very comfortable and keeps you cool and protected. Also protects from bedbugs(which I don't have). I would recommend this.

I'm glad we got The AllerEase Maximum Allergy and bedbug protector, it was easy to put on the mattress and did exactly as described. I like that it zips around the mattress so it protects it 100%. We don't have to worry about bedbugs, but it is nice knowing that there isn't all of the dander, spills etc being left behind on the mattress when we have people stay over. All I have to do is unzip it and throw it in the wash and put it back on! It's easy to clean, and I can remove and replace it by myself without help. I will be getting one for our king bed very soon since we suffer from sever allergies, hopefully this will help lessen them!

The zipper isn’t one smooth zip and go but rather sticks from time to time in the process but nothing too bad. The cover crinkles and makes sounds when rolling over in the bed and is a bit of a nuisance if you’re a light sleeper. It’s over all comfortable and does the job it’s designed for.
