In less than 5 minutes, you can have a barrier from allergens and bed bugs. I am using this in my guest room, so it being washable was a must. It does not crumple under the sheets or make a rustling noise. The material also feels like it would be a good barrier against bed wetters. Highly recommended product!

The surface is smooth and does not make a plasticky sound. We have had other mattress protectors that make that sound and hence that quality was important to us.

Pretty uncomfortable too, I have a plush pillow top queen bed and I felt like I was laying on the hard ground with this thing on.... it somehow just laid flat across and did not form to the contour of my usually amazing mattress. Also, I felt as if it increased the heat rather than providing a cooling/breathe able effect. After laying in bed for just a short time, it felt as if I had a heated mattress. Let’s just say multiple nights I woke up completely sweating. Definitely would be very difficult to put on with just one person, due to having to make sure it is lined up correctly, or else it won’t zipper right. Also, there is an excess piece of fabric which has to be tucked back otherwise the zipper gets stuck multiple times. The water resistance was adequate enough to not allow it to reach the mattress. As my dogs bladder will occasionally leak from too much water intake & it did not reach the mattress with this protector on.

It was easier than expected to put it on my mattress. I started and the foot of my bed and easily slid it on to the mattress and zipped it up . It is made very well and is very durable. I am so glad I tried this out . It works perfectly on my mattress.

The AllerEase Maximum Allergy & Bed Bug Protection Zippered Mattress Protector has been a life and mattress saver. Even with frequent washing of our sheets and quilt, dust, pollen, and pet dander(we have cats) will still collect in the mattress. Yuck. We got a new mattress and I wanted to protect it. This one from AllerEase has been great. I was surprised with how easy it was to put on. It unzips on one end and goes over the entire mattress like a sleeve. When you zip it shut the mattress is fully encased on all six sides. This cover is also waterproof. This feature saved our mattress just last week. Our cat has been ill. She was sleeping on the bed, suddenly got sick and vomited on the bed. Thanks to the AllerEase cover, clean up was quick and easy. The cover goes into the washing machine. Our mattress stayed clean and dry. My allergies are better too as no dirt, dust, pollen, dander, etc. can collect in the mattress. The cover protects from bed bugs too. The cover does not crinkle or make any sound when laying or moving around on it. Works just like it should.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Bed protectors before but never tried bed bug and allergy protector here are my pros and cons Pros -it’s amazing to my queen bed -been using it for a month no allergies so far - very comfortable - Washable - complete coverage for the mattresses with zipper - affordable price Cons - need two people to put on if it’s a bigger mattresses queen or king, Cal king - I wish they had two side zippers would have been easy to close from both the sides. - I washed it on a quick mode it took couple of times to get fully dried . (Was hesitant to put it in a normal mode bcoz of the fabric) Overall amazing product I would definitely recommend it to the people who have allergy issues.

I have allergies and sinus congestion so I used this protector to cover my mattress. The mattress cover fits the mattress perfectly. It came with instructions that helped to make it even easier to get the cover on. And it was easy to get on. I had just been using a cotton cover over the top of the mattress and not really a full protector. I think this will be a better solution to reduce my allergy and sinus symptoms. Once on the mattress, the cover simply seals out what you need it to whether that’s spills, dust, dust mites, pollen or pet dander. I am fortunate not to have bed bugs but the protector has an extra closure that seals over the top of the zipper end so anything like a bedbug is locked out. The protector is waterproof which is a great feature because one accident or something spilled would go straight through the mattress without the cover. This cover offers full protection for a mattress; it has lots of layers to keep liquids, allergens and pests out. Meanwhile, the fabric is not heavy or bulky but is lightweight, strong and durable. The fabric is also soft and waterproof without a crinkly sound or a plastic feel. I actually had to look inside the cover for the fabric care tag to see what the soft, light fabric was. The top layer of the protector is the softest layer and is made soft so it is comfortable to sleep on. It is very comfortable and also cool to sleep on under sheets. I did wash and dry the cover before placing it on the mattress. It is easy to care for and was easy to launder at home.

I like that it encases the whole mattress and zips up tight to both protect the mattress from allergens, and it is also waterproof. I don't have a bedbug problem thank goodness. I find it to be a soft cover and comfortable while sleeping on.
