[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The AllerEase Maximum Waterproof, Allergy and Bedbug Zippered Mattress Protector seems to be very sturdy and long lasting. The instructions are very simple, remove bedding then vacuum the mattress. Once that is complete they suggest using two people to install the mattress protector which would be much easier than doing it yourself - I did it myself so it can be done with patience. Stand the mattress on end so you can slip the mattress protector over the end lining it up and pull it down and over the mattress. Once the mattress is covered by the mattress protector, lay the mattress back down on the bed and zip it up. Simple!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my mattress cover about a week and half ago and I love it I got a queen size.It didnt fit to snug or to tight it was just right.It dosent have the sheets sliding from one side to the other.I am in the process of getting another one for my kids beds.If you have any sinus problems this will be the best mattress cover to get.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bad dust and pollen allergies. I wash the bed linens weekly. I didn't realize how much a mattress cover could make a difference. The AllerEase Maximum Allergy & Bed Bug Protection Zippered Mattress Protector has been a life and mattress saver. Even with frequent washing of our sheets and quilt, dust, pollen, and pet dander(we have cats) will still collect in the mattress. Yuck. We got a new mattress and I wanted to protect it. This one from AllerEase has been great. I was surprised with how easy it was to put on. It unzips on one end and goes over the entire mattress like a sleeve. When you zip it shut the mattress is fully encased on all six sides. This cover is also waterproof. This feature saved our mattress just last week. Our cat has been ill. She was sleeping on the bed, suddenly got sick and vomited on the bed. Thanks to the AllerEase cover, clean up was quick and easy. The cover goes into the washing machine. Our mattress stayed clean and dry. My allergies are better too as no dirt, dust, pollen, dander, etc. can collect in the mattress. The cover protects from bed bugs too. The cover does not crinkle or make any sound when laying or moving around on it. Works just like it should.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received this item and I could not believe that you can put so much things in this bag but I was able to put a whole comforter and a pillow. It was easy to use, shrink down so small and worked great. It locked in smell, liked if just came out the dryer.

I actually got two these, one for my mattress and one for my daughter's. It says it will go on a mattress up to 17" but I doubt that. My daughter's mattress is 14 1/2" and it just went over it and that was with the delivery guys holding the mattress up and helping me put it on. It is nice and encases the mattress and has a material feel to it. I use a less expensive one for the box spring that is mostly a plastic feel but did not want that on the mattress for fear that it will generate heat. The plastic ones are okay if you put them on and leave them alone but the last one I had ripped when I took it off the old mattress. It had been there a while so I guess that is to be expected. Whether this really protects the mattress is anyone's guess but it makes me feel like I've done everything I can do to protect it and keep all the nasty stuff out.

PROS: Easy to put on by myself, no annoying sounds when you move around in bed, no smells, and does its job... All and all a good quality product. CONS: Extra fabric around zipper gets caught easily and can damage the cover if not careful. Also, this is priced a bit on the high end in my opinion. I'd go with the AllerEase Ultimate for added quality.

This is a well-constructed mattress cover/protector that fits a variety of mattress heights, including pillow tops. The fabric is soft, synthetic, cool, hypoallergenic, washable, and noise-free (no crackling) as you move on the bed. It's moisture resistant enough to protect the mattress from an overturned glass of water. The weave is tight so it should do a good job at blocking dust mites. Unlike an elastic protector that goes onto the mattress like a fitted sheet, this protector completely covers the mattress on all sides, including the bottom. The zipper operates smoothly and there's a hook-and-loop tab at one end that covers and secures the zipper pull once the mattress is inside and the zipper is fully closed.

There are lots of products that would do this but I like how this one didn't feel like plastic. It's a full zip around design which is good but not the easiest to put on. I don't really need that much protection in the side but I guess it's good to have.
