For anyone who found these shelves weak check to see if the shelves are upsidedown. I originally put them with the shelf edges up (it makes sense to me that it would keep items from sliding off) but the shelf edges need to be hanging. Then the shelves slip over the slip sleeves and this makes it sturdy.

It's very practical and durable, stronger than it looks, and fits well with any home decor style. I recommend it.

I have purchased MANY Seville racks over the years. Like most companies, they have really cut corners. This thing is a piece of garbage. It feels like thin, cheap metal. Moving to using beer cans for shelves!! Save your money with this one.
