This is my 3rd set of Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires. They last a long time! I rotate them every 6000 miles. They handle well in wet and snowy conditions. My vehicle tracks better with Michelin tires. I have them on my Suburban and my 2500 HD. both "E" rated. They're great no matter what the task, from hauling just myself around to fully loaded with passengers and luggage, to towing my 32' travel trailer. These tires are quiet as well. I have had many other tire brands, some good some bad, but Michelin are the best and well worth the little extra they cost.

I have a higher mileage 2011 Ford Expedition 155K. I've had all kinds of tires on this vehicle. I was at my local tire shop and they recommended these LTX Defender's. Been running them about 8000 mi now. To my surprise they were just great in the snow. Wet traction also excellent. This truck is not an AWD it is rear wheel drive, with a dash switch. So it tends to break loose in the wet. There was a HUGE improvement in wet traction with the LTX's. Braking also excellent. But what I really like is that these run so quiet. I drive most time with the window open and I think this is the quietest tire ever on this vehicle. As a side note one of the guys I ride motorcycle with owns a auto repair shop. Just so happened in discussion he mentioned he had put the same tire on his wife's truck and he thinks they are great tires.. The only thing we both didn't like is the price. They are not crazy expensive but probably $40+ more then a "Good Tire" from the competition.

I had the original Michelin LTX MS and now have about 500 miles on the new Defender LTX MS. I think Michelin really got it right with the whole design of this tire. The original LTX is a great beloved tire. It provides good all season traction, a smooth quiet ride and decent tread life. I see the difference to the LTX MS2 and the Defender LTX I am driving is mostly in the outer shoulder block tread design. Its not open so water and slush can evacuate more easily. I like this idea. So far I love the new Defender. My only advice to Michelin and keep a decent tread depth on your tires. For an SUV or truck 11/32 should be the minimum.

Just had to buy a new set of tires for my 1999 Silverado daily driver. The tires coming off were Michelin LTX M/S with approximately 110,000 miles on the set. They were installed in 2005 and dry rot claimed them before wear reached the wear bars. Excellent tires, no complaints!

Don't know how,don't know why....but I can't get these tires to last. I've used nothing but since buying my Ridgeline in 2006. Seems right after I get a new tire, it finds a new nail. My wife and I both travel the same roads ( we work at same place just different shifts ) different brand,no problems

I have 30k on these tires and they wore abnormally down the middle, despite keeping proper air pressure and rotating them. The original LTX M/S2 tires were the best tire I ever owned and what made me a Michelin customer. These new Defenders may look like the old design, but are clearly inferior.

Purchased my 2016 F150 Lariat with what I thought were the best 275 55/R20 LTX M/S2 and only have 33k miles. Need Replace. Nice even wear, Rotated every 5K Miles, would Like to replace with same or equivalent (if and only If) I can pro rate. Please contact me ASAP Im Keeping this truck for many more years, I have reciepts of rotation but not filled out book pg 23-25 as Ford dealer Never Gave it to me. ;<{

Got rid of stock tires at 1800 miles first rain slid across road. Not driving family in a unsafe truck. Got the Defender LTX M/S 285 45 22. Night and day no questions asked. Smoother ride and a lot less noise. The tires r well worth the $$$. Last set LTX MS got 70,000 miles. Just go buy them

Tires have been on this vehicle for two weeks tops. first bad ice/snow storm we got 2/4/2022 upstate ny. WOW this vehicle performed 110% didn't slide all over even when I tried to make it loose traction, last month we had snow and I was running the stock Bridgestone dueler tires that came with the vehicle. What a joke them tires are. If Michelin continue to make these tires my 2022 highlander will soon get a brand new pair of defenders LTX m/s. I'm probably just going to remove the Goodyear tires that came with the vehicle. Great job Michelin..

I was told that these tires could be put on my Ford Taurus SEL, He said theses tires were for a car, then I told him that LTX means for Light Truck. I love the tires and they handle excellant, but I still have my doubts about these tires being for a car. So you tell me Michelin.
