I've been a Michelin loyalist since 1985. My latest set of LTX M/S on my SUV have been and still are a great ride. I am amazed at how well these tires perform, and I get more than the average rated MPG for my SUV which I do credit the tires, because it is the only thing that is not factory on my vehicle. There is no doubt for me that my next set of tires will be Michelins.

Put these LTX M/S tires on my Silverado and I love them. I have 40,000 miles on them and have over half the tread left. I take a 3500 mile trip each fall and the additional comfort I experience while on the road is amazing. I especially like the quiet ride. Here in Florida, they work especially well in the sand we deal with any time we are off the road. I highly recommend this tire and will replace them with the same M/S or the new M/S2 if they ever wear out.

The only compaint I have is that one of the tires failed less than 2 weeks after purchase. Traveling 65 mph on a straight stretch, my drive wheel tire had a side wall blow-out. This could have proved fatal had it been non-straight stretch road. However, since it's replacement there has been no problem and we are more than satisfied with them.

I have always loved and purchased Michelin tires for my truck. The LTX M/S is an excellent all weather tire that I have been able to achieve up to 70 thousand miles on. So, when I needed a set of tires I didn't even consider any other brand. I purchased a new set and had them put on. Simple as that. I don't put a lot of miles on my pick up so even though they are 4 years old, they have almost original tread. However, they are cracked and rotting on the side walls. When I brought this to the attention of the dealer, he said that Michelin's are notorious for their environmental cracks. They are in terrible shape and according to the dealer, I'm stuck with them.

The LTX is by far the best tires I have ever owned. My first set of LTX was bought used from A friend I worked with and when I bought the tires they had 50,000 miles on them and still looked new. I put another 100,000 miles on them!!! Thats right I got 150,000 miles out of one set of tires and they still have 1/4 inch deep tread and I'm still using them on and old project truck. The only reason I changed the tires was due to age and some weather cracks on side walls other wise I would still have them on the truck and I'm willing to bet I could get 200,000 miles out of them. Needless to say I purchased a new set of the LTX for the old truck also I brought a set of LTX for my full size van. I have a set of Michelin on my car and as soon as I save up enough money you can bet I will be buying a set of LTX for my other 4x4 truck!! For me the Michelin LTX has made a believer out of me to be the best truck or van tire you can buy!!! I came to know about Michelin LTX's while I was the shop forman at a large dealership dealing with alot of complaints about front tires whitling off on the edges. After checking front ends for alignments issues still had problems with competors tires replaced them with Michelin LTX and problem went away. I belive it is due to the excelent sidewall constrution of the tire preventing tire rollover, this also is why Michelin is the only tire I will put on my vehicles because the better the sidewall constrution, the better the ride .

Been using Michelins for 35 years. Had to very off the road to avoid a deer and the shoulder had a drop off. The Michelin's came right back onto the road with out pulling back. The safety of the Grandkids I feel is insured by drivving on Michelins. I recommend them every chance I get. Some people don't want to spend the extra money but in the wear factor and milage I save in the long run. One thing,,,,,Rotate them. I do it at 5000 even though recommended at 7500.

I run these tires on my coversion van. The van is mainly driven for traveling with family and friends. I seriously would not trust their safety to any other tire. My love for Michelin tires goes back quite a few years to the days I drove an overloaded sales van weekly on the road.

Our Michelin LTX M/S are about 3 years old and are showing very little wear. They are great in wet and snowy conditions. I have them on a 1995 Jeep and they are smooth and quiet. When ever the weather is bad we can always rely on the Jeep with the Michelin tires.

My mom is and over the road truck driver delivering camper trailers all over the country. Her 2008 Silverado 3500HD has nearly 550,000 miles on it. She is on her third set of Michelin - Michelin Defender LTX M/S. 3 Sets of 6 tires per set(18 tires) none of them have ever blown out. The least amount of miles she has gotten out of a set is 103,000 miles the most was 120,000 miles on the last set. These things perform and are well worth the investment.
