I purchased these for a 2018 Lincoln Navigator. However, road noise was persistent over 40 mph, the tires felt relatively unstable at highway speeds, and tracking wasn't linear. These are great truck tires, but I found them unsuitable for a luxury SUV. I returned the Defender LTX M&S 2 tires for a set of CrossClimate2 and am more than pleased.

I purchased a new set of Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires to replace my worn tires on my Honda CR-V. I did about two months of research and found the Defenders to be the best value for what I needed in snow and highway conditions. I can not express how disappointed I am with the handling and ride comfort of these tires. The slightest gust of wind nearly knocks me off of the road as well as extreme vibrations at 60 - 70 mph. Cornering and fast manuvering is nearly impossible and extremly dangerous at highway speeds. I have had these tires rebalanced twice as well as having my CR-V looked over by the Honda dealership to see if it was a problem with my car. I was told by the dealership that it was the new Defenders I had installed and that there are no issues with my vehicle. This was my first and will be my last Michelin purchase.

I replaced these same tires on my 2012 Toyota Highlander; this time, they are so loud that you cannot hear the radio. What is the difference from when I bought these tires 3 1/2 years ago? I figured it was just me but now my wife and son-in-law have driven the car and everyone has the same complaint It was too loud. You notice it at about 35 MPH and up. I have these same tires on my 2015 Tacoma Truck and don't have this noise at all. Is there a chance these are mounted wrong?

This is the third set of LTX M/S I've owned and I will not ever own anything else! These tires are perfect for my truck ,long interstate drives or getting a little mud on my tires makes no difference with these babies! My dad always taught me the two most important things on a vehicle were the tires and brakes. He also said your going to get what you pay for, which I didn't always follow his advise. I took the cheaper route and it always cost me more in the end. LTX Michelins will out last and ride smoother then any tire on the market and thats why this guy will never buy anything else. Last Christmas we drove from Dallas to Abilene in a blinding blizzard. It tool us 13 hours versus a normal 3 hours. We encountered blowing, drifting snow and extreme icy conditions. The ruts on the interstate were 4 to 6 inches and on stretches the ice was more than a little slick. We had NO problems with traction and made it through places that even big rigs with chains were having problems. The combination of these tires and our Honda Ridgeline are remarkable and I would definatley buy them again. Thanks Michelin Man.

I bought these tires (LT265/75R16) several years ago for my Nissan Frontier after the factory originals wore out after about 40K miles. I currently have almost 100K miles on these and they are just now telling me that I need to think about replacing them. I am planning on keeping my truck (only 140K miles on it) so I am looking for the same model tire.

My set of Michelin LTX M/S 265x75x16R tires are far and away the best tires I have ever purchased. This was also the first full set of Michelin tires I have purchased and now I am a true believer. Wear and ride comfort are unmatched by any other tire I have owned.

Just replaced the tires on my pickup and couldn't be more satisfied. Nice and quiet at any speed, smooth and stable, just as advertised! I like the performance and the design, only wish that they'd be available in white letters. Great product, keep up the good work!

When I purchased my last vehicle it had realtively new Michelin tires on it. I was so impressed with the durability and wear that when it cam time to replace them I stuck with Michelin's. There are just some things that you have to buy and realize that you get what you pay for, and in my opinion that tires are the biggest safety factor on a vehicle.

I got these tires 8 or 9 years ago, me and my family travel to Mexico every year so, I managed to put 75,000 miles on them and they still look like new, always get compliments from people who have seen my vehicle (1987 SUV) one of the questions they ask is " you got new tires? " and just reply " no!," I just got very good ones!" Thanks Michelin!
