Very quiet and smooth. I love the way they handle. I live in a hilly / mountainous terrain where we get all four seasons. Recently we had a significant snow fall and we had to make a sudden stop due on the freeway. I was thankful that we had the Michelin Defender 2's. We stopped on a dime without any slippage. I can't comment on wear and durability because I haven't had them long enough but from other reviews that I've read from many sources, these were the "BEST" Recommended tire for my vehicle (Subaru Ascent). Love the Michelin Defender 2 tires! First purchased a set for my wife’s car. When it was time to replace tires on my car, no question which tire to go with. The tires have a smooth ride, but also grip the road well. Great traction in both wet and dry conditions.

Michelin Primacy MXV4s were the tires replaced by these. The biggest difference between the two is that the Defender 2s are much better in rain, snow, and slush, which is the reason I got them. My biggest concern was that they would be louder on the highway and they are not. The MXV4 is a fine tire, but these make my car more capable in bad weather.

Tires are great but the rebate process is a nightmare. Could you possibly make it any more difficult to attach the receipt image? Really? Why not give an instant rebate at time of purchase? Only one reason I can think of, Michelin is hoping for leakage. Not a great customer experience.

I have been a user of Michelin tires in my primary vehicles for at least 25 years. I have tried other popular and "best-selling" tires in my secondary cars but never achieved the satisfaction with wear, overall handling and traction as I did with the Michelin tires. Since moving north to a climate with more snow three years ago, I now use Michelin Tires exclusively and am very pleased with my decision.

I've heard others brag on their new tires, and wondered why they were so excited....that is, until I bought Michelin Defenders for my 2010 Lexus RX350! Having tried the best of many other brands, I must now affirm that nothing--NOTHING-- rides, wears, handles or performs like Michelin! They are more quiet, more sure-footed, particularly in compromising conditions, better wearings, and provide a better ride than any tire I have ever used. FIVE STARS for Michelin...all the way!

hope tires hold up , had aset of these on my 2021 equinox and had 30000 miles on them and would not pass state inspection because od unusual tire wear ! had alignment done and was told alignment was ok ! contacted michelin about this and they said nothing could be done because i was second owner of car !!!!!!

Just bought these tires for my VW Atlas because they have been great on my wife’s car, but have been disappointed with how they ride. I expected a smooth ride but you can feel every bump in the road throughout the car. At first thought the tires were not balanced, but went back to the shop and they checked to confirm the tires were balanced. I would by again for my wife’s car but not my VW.

I replaced the original tires on my Honda CRV with Michelins. Cannot be happier. My dealer had a sale price on the set , plus I got an eighty dollar rebate! The old tires were loud on all surfaces. The Michelins are quiet and ride so much better. Plus I expect double the tire wear.

The best tire purchase I have ever made. I replaced the tires on my 2021 Honda CRV which only had 28,000 miles and what a difference it made. The ride is smoother, quieter and my car seems to even handle better. I would highly recommend Michelin no matter what series you’ll be getting the best tire even though they are a little pricey you’ll be getting your moneys worth.
