it didnt come in the clear bottle shown I.got 1 but it wasnt in the advertised bottle. I believe the one I did recieve is the $1 cost. I'm still trying to figure out what or why I didnt recieve the 1 that I ordered at grocery delivery. The price difference though small still would have preferred to recieve the item pictured. Taste is what was expected for the bottle of the non see thru I could imagine the correct see thru bottle other difference or not? The or a price difference or not? Well I thought somewhere I read heard saw a ad of some company changing its bottle, but I cant recall if this is this Brand!

Sprite 2 liters are a great alternative to 12 packs because they are the equivalent of 6 cans but much less expensive. I hadn't used them in years, but 2 liter bottles were the only option at times during the pandemic. I have a dishwasher, so it's not a big deal to use a glass vs grabbing a can at home. Yes, bottles will lose carbination over time, but my family hasn't had any issues if we drink the bottle in 2 days after opening. Aluminum is more recyclable than plastic bottles, but the plastic bottle is less bulky than multi packs of cans. I remember glass pop bottles - hopefully the beverage companies either go back to glass or design an aluminum 2 liter bottle soon.

It has been a while since I have bought Sprite but now that Walmart is carrying the GV lime sherbet again, I just had to get this to go with it. Back in the 70's there was a party punch (you actually put in a punch bowl) made with lime sherbet and either Sprite or 7-Up. I find Sprite works best for this combo. But I just use one of the big glass mugs sold at Walmart, put about 2-3" of soda in the mug and load it up with lime sherbet. Then I sit and stir it making it frosty and then I dig in!
