Compared to similar selections from other wholesalers, this one lacks variety and flavor

My item came in a huge box, that had so much extra space in it. There was no need for it. It didn't even have enough of the green bubble wraps. My item was broken and opened there was dents in the box and on my item.

Qualily food. Affordable price. Walmart shipped very fast.

We just started buying Augason Farms products and have fell in love with everything they offer. We will definitely be purchasing more to add to our inventory between these and our Mountain House products we will never run out of options

I bought this during the pandemic and decided to open the box and try one since it says opening the box does not affect longevity. I picked the Spanish rice because I thought that would be my least favorite. I give it a 4 star in terms of taste and texture. It is good enough to have as a side dish even if it is not an emergency and will not disappoint if it is. I may try a couple of the others. The 4 star is for the salt content but all of the emergency foods seem to have a salt content on the high side, probably because it is a cheap way to make things taste good. The bottom line is I was pleasantly surprised at the taste and know that I will not have to force feed it to myself in an emergency just to have some nutrition.

It is simply a great kit for ther sale price. a lot of food. BUT.....Auguson needs to review how they package the goods inside the bucket. The sharp edges of the pouches poked holes in 3 pouches so I did have to repackage and vaccum seal them. That was 3 pouches total out of two buckets. One pouch was powdered milk and it was all over every other pouch in that bucket.

Have not tried the contents yet which is why I gave it only 4 stars. Arrived quickly and in good condition. Our local food selection is minimal and shelving supplies sometimes empty during Covid-19, as we are in an exceptionally small community that is a 1 hour drive to a big city for potentially more food on the shelves. Might buy as a gift for family living in hurricane prone areas, as it is very lightweight and would be a quick grab during an evacuation.

With this kit you actually get pretty darn close to 2,000 calories a day for those full two weeks. Most of it is made up of soups and oatmeal, but it's actually not a bad kit. I would recommend this kit, plus a few supplemental things and you have yourself a decent two week kit. Many emergency/survival food kits that companies put together claim they are, insert a time frame here, for 1 or more people. If you do the math that it turns out to be under 1,000 calories a day with the other kits. Don't forget the water!

I have not used it, but you can't beat the price.
