Good rubber in terms of price / quality ratio

Very sticky, fast braking, didn’t fail, excellent handling on wet and dry roads. The noise level has also decreased noticeably. Driving comfort is much higher compared to my previous tires. There was no damage during the year of use. I was completely satisfied with my choice.

Tesla model 3 25K

These tires were standard on my new Model 3. They lasted about 25,000 miles and in snow they were scary. As they wore down noise became unbearable. While driving on a chip seal road I needed to put on my Apple EarPods Pro using the noise cancellation feature. Noise was 75db at highway speeds. On a smooth road at the same speed sound was 64db. Overall the tires were just OK. I am trying out the Primacy tour AS next. Also looks like no dealers honors the mileage warranty. We have 9 vehicle in our family and 5 of them have Michelin tires on them.

Good Quality, Questionable Value

These Tires were original to my FWD 2014 Buick Regal Turbo. Rotated every 5K miles. They were comfortable, decent performance and overall good tires. I recently replaced them with Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 Plus. These last a good long time, 100,000 miles, 50,000 miles each tire on the drive wheels which is right on par with the warranty. The reason I didn't purchase these again is because they are really expensive. I understand that they are touring sport tires so they have to be both comfortable and have good performance and tread life but when i switched to the continentals, the new tires were just as comfortable even though they're ultra performance all season. These tires run even more expensive than the critically acclaimed Michelin pilot sports. The MXM4s also have pretty thin soft side wall, maybe for comfort but it was flushed with the rim so no protection from curb rashing the rim. The rubber compound is softer which makes for great stopping in wet but the trade off is they don't last as long as rivals, especially for heavier vehicles like EVs. Overall a Good tire, but for the money you can buy a tire that offers more for less, including offerings from Michelin.

My new favorite tire.

I have a 2WD Lexus RX350. Last year i went to the snow with 50% front and 70% rear on another manufacturer tire. Chain restrictions were in effect. I lied, said it was AWD. (DISCLAIMER: I'm a professional driver and a rescue driver (my job to never get stuck) so i have the experience to drive in these conditions. I DO NOT suggest you do the same. It will cost you your life. The purpose of this is for performance comparison.) Any slight hill, my traction light was coming on. I was climbing slight freeway hills at 15-20mph just unable to get traction. Vehicles were stopped ahead on a downhill and it took 800ft to stop from 35mph. This year, i put 4 new Primacy MXM4s on my SUV. Still had plenty of tread from last year's tires but i wasn't about to go through that again. This year the weather was much worse. Much more snow. On the same interstate, my SUV was having no trouble keeping up with the AWD vehicles and 4x4s. It was so bad, some AWD vehicles (Subaru Outback likely with bad tires) had to put chains on. And braking, night and day from last year. Now, all season performance, my SUV was averaging 25mpg with the old tires. 4 of these and I'm seeing 28-29mpg at 65mph on flat ground. That's a significant improvement.

tires wear out very fast.

it came on my Tesla model 3 by mid February 2022, I changed them for my winter tires in November 2022, and that's when I was shocked to find out by my local garage that my rear tires were completely worn out at only 19 000 kilometers !!!!!!!! never seen this before, not even on the cheapest tires.

The best tire one could ask for a quiet smooth ride.

Did a lot of research on forums and articles and decided on the Primacy's for my Grand Marquis and I just love them, yeah they were pricey but you get what you pay for and they're worth every penny spent. Highly recommended from a retired mechanic who knows quaality.

Quiet and comfortable but wear out fast

I recently replaced these on my Tesla model 3 RWD. The OEMs wore out really fast, they were down to 3/32s within 18000 miles. I don't know if it's the car or the tires themselves. I rotated the tires every 3500 to 4000 miles too. Anyhoo, the new tires made my Model 3 quieter and less bumpier. Mileage isn't affected too much. They handle well and provide decent wet traction, dry traction is great though. Overall I am pretty happy with my decision to stick with OEM recommendation.

Great price, even better tires

I could feel the difference immediately. As soon as my new Primacy MXM4s were installed my drive was so much smoother. I no longer felt every bump in the road. I would definitely recommend these tires to anyone looking for new tires. The price I paid was only slightly more than the cheapest tires most places offered. Yet they are better than the mid-range tires on the market. Great price for an even better product.

I have just purchased 4 ...

I have just purchased 4 Primacy MXM4 tires for my 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP this tire offers excellent performance in both wet and dry conditions and a very quiet comfortable ride this tire is exceptional in every way with NO compromises. Michelin has hit a home run with this tire and I hope they never change the recipe for its success.

Exceed Expectations

The Primacy MXM4 were the tires that came on my 2014 Avalon. I was very pleased with the ride and the life of the tire. After 83,000 miles I just changed my tires to the Premier A/S. The ride of the Primacy MXMA was awesome! When new, I often felt like I was floating in air, the ride was luxury, almost now road noise and the performance was awesome. I live in Kentucky and our Spring season is often extremely wet. My tires always performed well, even the high mileage. Reluctantly purchased new tires, only because the noise level increased. Two days ago, I purchased the Michelin Premiere A/S. Not sure I’m enjoying the quality of the ride as well. It’s a bit stiffer, not the same luxury ride and seem to grip the road vs gliding across the road. However, the verdict is still out.
