Over the past 40 years of driving a number of different company, & private vehicles, I have tried top end tires from all the major tire manufacturers. My Volvo S80 came equipped with the Michelin Primacy MXM4 P225/50R17 tires. We do a lot of city & highway driving. I was really impressed with the overall handling & performance of these tires, better than anything that I have used in the past. The tires are very quiet, & my gas mileage is outstanding. The hwy mileage rating for our vehicle is 43 mpg. On longer highway trips I am consistently averaging just over 50 mpg, which is amazing. I highly recommend these tires....

Less than 1000 miles on so it's hard to tell how they will wear. Really love the ride the give and secure feeling. I am concerned somewhat about some of the mileage complaints customers had and there where several. Guess time will tell, but if they are anything like the Michelin's I had on my truck years ago, I will be more than happy with my choice. My tires get rotated about every 5000 miles. Which was done on the previous Tiger Paws, but just changed them with 35000 miles on them and highway miles 80%. Tires wore even, I had the alignment checked and corrected before I purchased the Michelin's even though the alignment was not far off.

I drive 50,000 a year between all my cars. I replaced Michelin Energy Savers with the Primacy MXM4. I liked the Energy Savers. They did provide a measurable MPG improvement from the prior Pilot HX MXM4. That said the Energy Savers were a little noisier and less inspiring in the corners. The Primacy MXM4 is a superior tire in comfort, road noise and handling. Gas mileage is about the same or slightly less but the tradeoff in less noise and better comfort and handling is worth it.

I bought these tires for my 2010 Focus with 17 in wheels so my version have a pretty small sidewall. So ride is important to me. These perform very well in the little bit of time I've owned them. (3 months/ 7000 miles) I drive 90% hi-way. Great at high speed in all conditions. Drove home from airport in a blizzard and I felt very in control. Great in wet and dry. Have yet to hear them make any noise in the corners. They suck up the bumps well too. Another thing I like is that the sidewall protrudes a bit more than most tires and protects the wheel lip very well. So if you do happen to bump a curb your wheel will be ok. I did have a small issue getting them balanced but I put that more on the place that balanced them, my wheels, and my pickiness at highway speeds. Great Tire. I don't mind spending a little more. I think all Michelin tires are worth the extra coin. Let's face it, this is all that keeps you on the road.

Just had my 18,000 service and dealership is saying that one of my tires needs replacing which of course means that I have to replace 2 tires to keep the rotated tires in balance. Have had Michelin in the past on other vehicles and tire life was in the 35,000 to 45,000. Very disappointed in the Primacy MXM4.

This is the second set of this particular tires that I have owned. The first set were on my first, brand new 2007 Acura TSX and the performance these tires showed just couldn't be compared to any other brands. I refused to put any other tire on that car other than these. I just last month purchased a 2016 Acura RDX and it already came stock with this brand and model of tire on it and I was sooooo happy about that because I knew I had a good set of tires on this vehicle. My wife went on a road trip and she was happy about how quiet and smooth the ride was. Then I went on a road trip and I certainly didn't have to guess how well that went!!!

What I noticed most about my tires are the smoothness of the ride, and the way it handle curves on the highway. I have also notice the increased mileage I get which I will confess was as good as advertised. I will buy Michelin tires the next time I purchase tires and I am sure the time after that as well.

I put these tires on my 1985 Mercedes500SEC. It drove like a new car. The handling was great and the ride got even better. With this car it was like sitting in your favorite chair at home. I have 20,000 miles on them and they look new, of course I rotate them every 5,000 miles. Great tire! I really appreciate the technology that went into them.

There were several different brands of tires, with a huge range in prices for me to select from, when deciding on what to purchase. I decided to go with the best. I'm extremely happy with my selection of Michelin Tires. I paid for peace of mind. And, that's exactly what I've gotten. When it comes to my family and safety, I don't cut corners.

Tires are very quiet, great handling, and with great traction on snow and ice. Handles turns like a champ. However, after 57K miles and 2 weeks past 6 years and with a healthy amount of thread left, noticed a crack developed in one of the tires. The crack is in a place that is very hard to be in contact with foreign objects in the road. Now I got to replace 4 of them because of that.
