Beautiful range microwave to fit budget

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently purchased a home and are slowly upgrading all the appliances when financially able. We enjoy the dark stainless fridge and dishwasher. We just purchased the over the range microwave but the dark stainless steel was more expensive for the same unit so purchased the silver and still fits in nicely. Love the look of the flat front and glass buttons giving it a a sleek look. Next up the lg gas range!

seems more powerful than our whirlpool microwave that we replaced even though its the same wattage, only thing I would like to see changed by LG and really all manufactures is a print proof touch pad as no matter what, always finger prints on the pad as its shiny black

Interior Light quits working within 12 months.

Interior Light quits working within 12 months. Replaced under warranty with 2 weeks left on warranty. The warrantly replacement didn't make it a year and now it's out or very dimm again. Seems to be a design flaw with these microwaves. I have had many different over the stove microwaves and never had this issue.

Easy to Use

The project is still in-process so I haven't used all three fully or at all but I have used the microwave consistently for the past three weeks. I find the microwave easy to use and intuitive to run but I have a nasty vibrating noise when it first starts. It sounds like a loose part.

Bad Microwave, Bad Installation Service

The microwave was defective out of the box (missing the welded-on nut that the install screw screws into). It might work, I'll never know. Sams Club did nothing to fix the situation so after almost 2 months having a defective microwave sitting in my kitchen and Sam's Club doing nothing but blaming LG, I had to return it. We'll I'm trying to return it, we'll see if they can do that in less than a month (because at that point they'll say I'm beyond the return period). Sam's Club, I just don't know what to do anymore. I bought a microwave from you but you forgot about me after that. You just don't care, do you. I don't think I'll trus Sams Club ever again.

Poor Service

Had a repair person out that did not know his job he had to go to his truck and call someone cause he said he's never seen an issue like this before which we had a professionally hooked up and the steam is not blowing out like it's supposed to so for instance when cooking and that microwave door is closed, the fan is on still getting steam on the door which drips down into the food. Very poor Service.
