I just had 4 new Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires installed on my 2004 Suburban. Just driving home from the service shop felt like I was driving a new vehicle. The ride was smoother, quieter, and more responsive. I had researched for weeks in advance to making the decision to go with Michelin and I am very glad I did. I feel Michelin did their homework with this tire design and definitely got it right.

I've had this tread pattern on several vehicles, and the tires outlast my interest in the vehicle. When trading the vehicle, the tires are a selling point. In this case ( Oct 26 2017) I've removed the factory installed Latitude TourHP from my new 2017 RAV4 Hybrid XLE ( quiet, smooth, appear to be low rolling resistance, but do not appear to be well suited for winter or rainy near freezing weather, despite "M+S" inscription on sidewall) , and replaced with these Defender LTX M&S as an all weather tire. They are great so far, but I get the impression they do not roll as effortlessly as the Latitude Tours. Perhaps they need to be "broken in"?

We have always bought Michelin tires and have always had excellent service with the exception of this last set. Put a new set on 2008 Honda Ridgeline mileage 69,000 and now we took them to be balanced and they tell us htey are f"feathering" coming apart. And that we need a new set of tires, mileage is not 132,000. We are looking to another dealer. but would still recomment Michelin.

This tire is the most reliable tire and it has great stability and it has high performance and easy maintenance and easy to install it has high safety standards, + it has high compatibility, between all the tires, and it is well designed for long lasting very Comfortable among all types of tires, I recommend this tire to all my family and friends

Completed a 17,000 trip to Northern Canada including Dempster Highway which is known to chew up tires. Did a tire rotation halfway through trip and they are still looking good with no abnormal tire wear or damage. Have purchased many Michelin tires over the years and they are the best in terms of coming close to advertised wear life but you do need need to keep them inflated properly, balanced and do the rotations on a regular basis.

I drive a Ford F250 diesel to Mexico and back each year pulling a 10,000 lb trailer so tires are important. I am into my third set of Defenders which realistically last about 75,000 km before tread wear begins to be an issue for long distance travel. Of the 15,000 km per year I drive the truck, half of it is pulling a trailer. I choose these tires not only because Ford recommends them but also because they give me very good fuel economy even pulling a trailer (17 L/km pulling and 8 L/km not pulling).

Bought these about a week ago. They replaced my OEM Michelin cross terrian which are no longer made. These LTX tires are awesome nice quiet ride. Super smooth, ust an amazing difference. Absolutely love them so far. Already have been in rain and snow and handled great. Great Purchase!!!

This tire is installed today to replace the stock one. When I drove my car back home, I've got a new feeling, just like I was driving a new car. The new tire made the car feel more comfortable, like sitting on a firm-but-soft spring, very good! I am ready for the winter season for ski, will provide more updates for the highway and light snow conditions.

Awesome all season traction. These replaced my worn out AT2 tires that I also liked. When the new defenders were installed, I noted an average 28 to 32 km gain per tank of fuel for my truck. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend them for any light duty pickup truck owner

I have had these tires for about two years now. There is just over 40,000 kilometers on them and I'm not likely to get another 10,000 out of them. To be fair the stock tires were no better but the rating on the defenders was a lot more than 50,000 kilometers.
