I enjoyed building this. I have experience building furniture since I built all the furniture in my apartment. When you get this item delivered, it is heavy. I had to leave the box at the bottom of the stairs and bring up each piece separately. The heaviest portion is the table top. I am 5'3 and handling this alone was a challenge but I did it. For assembly, the table was the easiest. Four legs and the table top. Flipping it over was a bit hard but I got it. The chairs is what will take most of your time. The directions is just pictures but you can figure it out. I recommend putting on the seat frame before the cushion. The cushion does not have predrilled holes so the frame will help you line it up so you can press the screw in to the cushions. Also when assembling the cushion place the chair upside down on the table so you can press down. To avoid wobbly chairs, place all the screws but don't tighten all the way. Perfrom a drop test (2-3 inches) until the chair doesn't wobble then tighten all the screws. This will shake the screws in place. The dining set is a great height and extremely sturdy. My friend who is 6'5 had no problem sitting at the table. This set fits perfectly in my apartment. I wouldn't recommend this for large dining rooms. I live alone so this is perfect for me. The table top does not match with the cushions. It is okay because the table matches my décor. I also placed foam under the legs of the chairs and table so they don't sctrach my floor when scooting or moving.

I was hesitant on buying this dining set due to the number of negative reviews it has, but I decided to order it anyway to see for myself. The set was delivered on time today and the shipping box was in good condition. When opening I noticed no damages to any of the pieces and it went together exactly how the directions follow. The directions are very simple which I love. This set is stunning and sturdy! The description and pictures do match the product! I would definitely recommend!

Contruction is solid, the cushions are comfortable and firm. Relatively easy to put together. The only issue I have with our unit is that the tabletop is not grey like in the photos but has more brown tones to it. It's not ugly or anything, but it certainly doesn't match the chair cushions as nicely as in their pictures. Still, all in all it's a solid basic table and chairs set!

This table and 4 chair set is nice for a smaller kitchenette area. The set came with clear instructions and labeled parts making it easy to put together. Assembly took about an hour. Two of the chairs have a wobble leg issue (assume chair legs were not all even lengths). Will put chair pads on the bottom of those that rock. Note that the product has a strong chemical smell out of the box. Hoping the odor dissipates with time as it airs out.

It’s a nice show table... it’s in our front room where we really don’t sit to eat. But it’s cute to dress up for different holidays. It was easy to assemble and didn’t really take that long.

The only thing I found weird was that the table color is different from the chairs. It's not horrible but wish I would've known.

The color of the top of the table looks different in person than it does online. I still like it just not what I expected. Also the directions can be very confusing.. there are not a lot of words describing how to put it together. The cushions are very hard, but maybe overtime that will change. Other than that, it is a good table and I like it a lot.

We wanted something smaller than what we had. It is a good size (what we wanted) but I gave up a solid wood set that cost similar, for this poor quality furniture. We had to get a replacement chair due to one was damaged. Customer service was very quick to respond and send a new chair right away. Usually, the furniture is of better quality at Sam’s. I don’t count on it lasting for too long but it is serving it’s purpose. One more thing, you can’t push all the chairs in at once because the table is too small.

Two different sets. First had a broken leg and two crunched corners on table top. Second one had only one crunched corner. I kept it and shoved it up against the wall. The set took me forever to put together. Some of the pre-drilled holes didn't match up. I liked that each chair had its own separate bag of screws, bolts, washers and that helped.

Assembly was easy enough but I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the color of the table top. Pictured it looks to be the same color as the seat cushions. IT IS NOT EVEN CLOSE. Seats are a true Heather grey, table top is a weird greenish brown. We will be sanding it down lightly to refinish, as there are no other affordable tables in the style we were looking for. Do NOT trust the pictures for accurate color reference.
