Here in Oregon the weather isn't always nice enough that we want to sit around a fire while camping to roast marshmallows and make s'mores. With the nostalgia s'mores maker we were able to make our s'mores from the comfort of our home. It is an electric stove with no flame. The unit itself was pretty easy to put together. I loved that it came with the bowls that go around the outside to put the marshmallows chocolate graham crackers in. This helps keep everything organized, and I utilize it to portion out how much each child was allowed to have, haha! It worked out perfectly for our family. We just needed four sections and that's what we had. This product came with little forks to put the marshmallows on so that we could roast them, they kind of remind me of fondue forks. My kids loved it, although teaching them to not put the marshmallow on top of the burner has been the biggest hurdle. They just keep touching the metal.. we have found that you do have to hold the marshmallow pretty close to the burner in order to get it to warm up properly because it takes a little bit of time for the marshmallow to cook and roast the inside tends to melt faster, making it hard to keep the marshmallow on the fork but as you use it, you will learn exactly the angle to hold the fork. The cleanup is really easy, the bowls around the outside were easy to disassemble and put in the dishwasher. We've really enjoyed this product and have used it multiple times with my three boys. They are 15, 10 and 7 and they all love it! Thankful to have the opportunity to receive this product for free in return for our honest review. Highly recommend this is a super fun thing to do with a family or even for a date night inside.

We all decided to do some indoor camping. We set the tent up in the living room for the kids and then set up the indoor s'mores maker in the kitchen. Everyone had so much fun spending the s'mores kit and building their own s'mores exactly how they like them. The electric way of roasting marshmallows is genius. It makes them come out exactly golden brown with no burnt marshmallows and no getting so sick of waiting that you eat the marshmallow raw. I can see us using this again and again because it was just so much fun.

This is so perfect, you get to make s'mores without having to be outside in the cold and without having to smell like burning wood. It's very easy to assemble and the lazy Susan makes it so easy to share with everyone on the table. It comes with 4 roasting forks to roast your marshmallows easily. The only down side is that it has to be plugged to an outlet and the cord is not very long so you'll more than likely need an extension cord to reach an outlet but other than that it's great.

When it's raining or way too cold outside or even just because, this was great. My kids absolutely loved it. When I saw the box I thought it was a big bulky item but really the only "bulky" part is the tray that sits around the burner for the goodies to be held in. It's very very simple to set up. Just plug it in and turn it on and within 5 minutes this thing was hot enough that our marshmallows were getting soft already. To get them nice and toasted brown you do have to have some patience since it is not fire but an electric burner. But other than the waiting it was a hit. My kids are asking daily I'd we can take it out and use it. It's simple to set up and simple to clean. I washed it by hand and everything came off pretty easy. I would definitely recommend to others looking for a fun indoor way to make smores!

This is great for this problem, my friend had one I used before and it was so fun for all of us to enjoy making smores together. It is so convenient for those family get together super easy to clean because I already had one myself, but it was a smaller version and you don't have to worry about yourself because it is not a big flame and it's super easy for kids to use. I haven't had mine for long, but I feel like it'll be super long lasting and the assembly is so easy. It is super easy to bring on any camping trip. It is super versatile.

The setup is self-explanatory (I used the picture on the box as a guide) and the electric heating coil warms up quickly. The lazy susan feature of the tray made it easy for everyone to reach the marshmallows, grahams, and chocolate. The center of the coil is definitely the sweet spot to achieve “toasted perfection.” This means that only one person can toast a marshmallow effectively at once. A second or third marshmallow will get warm, but not golden brown. I'd recommend this as a fun side-activity or enhancement to game night, for example, but not as the main event where multiple people are trying to make s'mores all at once. It's safe to use as long as it's unplugged before cleaning and cools down prior to storage. The brown plastic components are easy to clean with soap and water.

My family and I love hosting bonfires and roasting marshmallows, so this was a perfect thing to try! It was easy to assemble since everything slots together well, and it heats up pretty quickly! The plastic food holder ring feels a little bit flimsy, and the little rolling balls on the lazy Susan makes a bit of a squeak when turning, but overall it works as expected. Easy to wash the different pieces, and I like that the little burner cover is separate. Makes it way easier to clean. I do wish it was a tad bit bigger since I'm in a big family, but it would be a great size for a family of 3-4!
