I was pleasantly surprised with the carbonation and taste. I also feel good about the environmental impact and it will have paid for itself in a few months vs purchasing from the store. So easy.

The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star review is that the bubbles diminish faster than other canned products. But I don’t have to buy and haul heavy cans and worry about getting rid of the empties. Great solution to a lot of problems.

SodaStream was a great purchase, not only the ease of making soda at home, it has half the sugar content. No empty bottles to bag then take to recycling. Sparkling water as well, so many flavors to choose from.

Purchased two different models in two years. First one lasted 18 months. The second lasted 12 months. They’re not inexpensive. They should probably last longer for the price one pays. If I have to buy a new one every year, it’s no good.

Unit itself is awesome! Syrups are kind of nasty, though- didn't realize they had sucralose in them. I thought that "less sugar" meant just that it had less sugar, not that an artificial sweetener was added. Disappointed.
