First few time using it there was water gushing out and finally figured out the bottle has to be securely locked into the socket so the bottom of the bottle is kind of 'floating' not setting on the base, otherwise, when CO2 is pumped in, water will come out. I think the instruction should have mentioned this. Once this is figured out, it's easy to use and fun to make your own flavored drinks.

I can now create my own fizz drinks at home for a healthier lifestyle. The machine was extremely easy to use. I had no problem setting it up or using it. I can make my fizz water in less than a minute! This machine is cordless which is perfect for my kitchen. Highly recommend this product.

Always interested in this product but unable to afford it. Got it at special Christmas price and love it. Drinking more water now, like the bubbles. Plain water is so boring and hard to drink a lot of it. Modernizing 3-4 bottles a day. Thank you for great product. Saving planet of plastic waste is great too.

Doesn’t take up too much space on the counter. Seems pretty affordable, especially if you spend a lot of money on carbonated water already.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've never done one of these before, so I can't compare it to previous versions like some other people are doing. No previous experience. I can say that this works well. I've never been a soda drinker, always preferred black tea, unsweetened. But the last year or so my teenaged son has been on a carbonated flavored water kick, and I've come to like them as well as a great alternative to my normal tea routine, so I though this would be a fun thing to try. Instructions are pretty straight forward, although I apparently didn't have the bottle tight enough up when I first tried it, and got water spraying around. Once I realized I needed to get it in there more, things went fine. I expected it to maybe last for a little bit, but not long. I was surprised at how much longer the effect lasted than I would have thought. We've been trying various powder and drop flavors, trying to find what we like.

The Soda Stream Terra is so so so amazing… my favorite item I’ve received from Influenster in 4 years. First off, it is super simple to use and I like that I can just fill a bottle with water and have bubbly water within seconds (and I can control the intensity of carbonation, woohoo). Second… and here’s the best part… I love that I can create mixed cocktails with different varieties of the sparkling water and flavors. I love the iced tea white claws and I’ve found a perfect dupe. Add crystal light peach tea to the soda water, a splash of vodka, and bam! So refreshing, so easy, no cleanup. I also like to put fresh fruit in my soda water and let it set a while… refreshing, light, healthy drink that feels like a treat. All around win!

I don't know why we waited so long to buy this. It's much easier than lugging home cases of sparkling water. I'm not sure how long a cannister of gas lasts, so we'll see how the economics compare, but from an ease of use perspective, 5 stars.

I wouldn't change a thing about it cause it does the job it should do. I would definitely recommend this especially if you trying to drink more water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try the SodaStream Terra. I had actually been contemplating getting myself and soda water maker since I drink so much. So when I was provided this item to try I had such high hopes. I opened the box, read the instructions, and began my setup. My first try was unsuccessful, to put it nicely. Totally my fault, I apparently hadn’t placed the bottle in the machine properly so half the water exploded out onto my kitchen counters and floor. A quick cleanup, and another peak at the instructions, I tried again. This time I made sure the bottle was properly placed in the machine. I pressed the button 5x, as I like my water extra bubbly. I disengaged the bottle from the machine, and once again the water exploded all over my kitchen counter and floor. I looked at the instructions, and there was no further info. I did it correctly. So, I tried the water and it was rather flat. There was a slight bubbly feeling, but nothing like out of the can. Third try, I insert bottle, press carbonation button 5x, and this time I allowed the bottle to settle a few seconds before disengaging from the machine. SUCCESS!!! Finally, third time was a charm. I grab a glass and fill it with ice, ready for my ice cold bubbly water. Quick picture and now it’s time to enjoy. Unfortunately, the bubbles weren’t strong enough for me. It tastes like a can that’s been open for a bit, so obviously there is carbonation, but not enough for those of us who love a crisp bite. Overall, this is a pretty cool machine. There are no plugs and no batteries, which makes it an optimal appliance for our camper. I will enjoy this product and use it, especially if there is a guest that drops by. But, I probably won’t stop buying my Pellegrino and Pepsi.

I feel like it will definitely help me to cut back on drinking sodas. Plus it is way more affordable in the long run to make my own! I feel like it is absolutely worth the money.
