I bought the 9' in red and I love it so much I bought the 11' and it is great. The best part if I leave them up and go to work or shopping and a summer storm comes up, live in Florida so that is often, if there are high winds the umbrellas will close themselves. The bones of the umbrella is made of very strong metal with a mechanism to lower the umbrella if for any reason the batteries don't charge. You can also charge the umbrella at the light so you do not have to take it down to charge it. The fabric is made of very thick material and made by Sunbrella the rain does not penetrate the fabric it runs right off. After the season I will clean the fabric and then spray it with 305 a great water repellent. I highly recommend this umbrella.

We love it! Amazing when it lowers itself due to strong winds. A must have when you live in Texas where the wind blows most of the time. The solar light is a nice touch too.

Because I really liked the first umbrella I purchased, I decided to order another one. The solar panel cracked and I contacted the company via email and directly from their website. but never heard back. I could have really used the umbrella. Double thumbs down.

Poor quality for the cost. Fabric of umbrella isn't how it appears in the photo. Plastic parts are very cheaply made.

I purchased this in June of 2024. it is a total waste of money. initially the unit worked sporadically. the "wind sensor" did not work at all from day one... the remote power button worked sometimes -- the manufacture said it needed a new battery - did that - it got worse - and the claimed manual release if power if not working is a joke - unless you are 6'6 and strong enough to lift the whole weight of the umbrella while over the top of your head to take all the tension off the lift cord - forget even trying. hey umbrellla engineer - how hard would manual crank for back-up have been? after 100 other issue and several times on with company -- the rudely told me i am stuck with it they will not help or replace it - they said in the fine print of the warranty - if the umbrella comes out of the box into the world and weather - they are absolved of any liablity this is piece of dangerous junk

It arrives broken. Walmart did nothing to try to help. Still working with above to try to get everything to work correctly. It's a very expensive umbrella to have it not work.
