Excellent traction. Good ride.

I have these Premier LTX's installed on my 2011 Honda CR-V (4WD). Had them put on in May of 2018 at 63,000mi and have driven 7,000mi on them so far. They're quiet and offer a nice ride with great grip and very good handling albeit for an all season tire. What I'm most impressed with to this point however is this tires performance in wet conditions and especially in snowy conditions. I live in the Hudson Valley of New York and we just got our first snowfall of the season. We got about 4-6” of snow that came in hard and fast. So fast that right in the midst of the snowfall, I had to go get my daughter from day care. I had no problem at all getting through to and back from day care safely. Not only did I not have any problems but I easily passed many cars that got stuck on hills, were off the road and that had gotten into accidents. Two main roads on my way home were closed due to accidents so I had to take the long way around and while the weather was scary, my daughter and I were safe and warm our entire ride home in spite of the mayhem going on around us at times. Yes, I'm sure the CR-V's 4WD system helped and I was grateful to have it as well but I think the Michelin Premier LTX's were even more of a factor in giving us the safe and secure ride home we enjoyed. As I said, I've only got 7,000mi on these tires and they still look new so I can't speak to their tread life but I'm otherwise very happy with this admittedly expensive tire purchase.

The tire wear is sad!

These tires came with my new 2018 Equinox and I was happy because of the Michelin name. My car has 19,000 miles on it and it was recommended by the dealer that I replace them before winter. I watched the tread wear quicker than expected with each scheduled oil change and tire rotation. I was shocked when I saw that they were rated for 60,000 miles. I was definitely expecting better results. Going with a different brand of tire.

Terrible tread life

These were OEM on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. With easy driving the tires needed replacing at 18,000 miles. In the last 40 years I have never had tires wear out this fast! The tires have UTQG treadwear rating of 620 and I should have got at least 40,000 on these tires. Something isn't right with the UTQG rating on this tire as these tires wore more like a UTQG rating of 300. This is unfortunate as the other characteristics of the tire is very good.

Worst Michelin Performance ever

I have had Michelin tires on my vehicles for over 30 years and been completely satisfied with their performance. In April '16 I put the 2nd set of Michelin on my 2010 Lexus RX 350. Was advised to put Premier LTX on. Have been nothing but disappointments since. Had tires installed and balanced and bounced all away home. Had tires re-balanced twice after installation to no prevail. Due to Michelin 30 day satisfaction guarantee I was able to get a second set but again to no prevail. Bounced all away home. Finally took vehicle to Lexus car dealership and had them Road Force Balanced. Never have had to do such to just be able to drive.

Great ride but POOR tread life!

These tires came factory installed on my 2020 Buic Envision. I just purchased the car as it was a lease. After the full inspection of the car at the dealer, the ONLY thing that they found was the the car need new tires. At only 32K miles this is almost HALF of the TREAD WARRANTY (60,000 miles).

Great Tire for Drivers

Purchased a 2014 Durango RT+ Rear Wheel Drive 5.7 HEMI in November 2019 and the OEM Goodyear Fortera's were horrible. Our family has been driving on Michelins since 1969. Have LTX M&S on 2 Suburban 2500's & a Roadmaster Wagon. I drive hard & fast, I Pull trailers fast as well. Some of my SK boat trailers have H speed rated tires. Must have Michelin V rated Extra Load performance tires. OEM size 265/50VR20 not available from Michelin in Extra Load. Michelin does build Extra Load 255/50VR20XL & 275/45VR20XL sizes. The difference in Revs per Mile is not enough to interfere with ABS system so Bought a Pair of each for experimental purposes. Read all the reviews about Great performance and 20,000 mile Tread Life Expectancy. Hey Guys, This is a performance tire, if you want tread life get Defender LTX M&S. Drove a Durango RT with LTX M&S Defender non extra loads and would not put them on mine, Great ride, Not A Performance tire. So far these tires are Fabulous, Hard Launch, Great Handling, Grip in the Rain at triple digit speeds, Not Noisy or Hard Riding, Very Predictable Breakaway when at the edge of traction. If They are Slick @ 20,000 miles I will be Thrilled!! Will Buy Premier LTX 275/45VR20XL's front & rear next time around. GREAT TIRE for Loose Nuts Behind The Wheel!! FLY SAFE

Poor tread life

Replaced my Bridgstone Duellers with these Michelin Premiers counting on that I would get double the miles. Now two years later and 20k miles they are all bald with 8000 less miles than my Duellers. Wish they could have held up to their 60k mile description.

Good for the first two years

These are the tires that came with my new 2019 Chevy Blazer and already had to get them replaced. Quite disappointed in the longevity of these tires since I barely drove last year due to the pandemic. I'm hoping my next set of Michelins Defenders last longer than this version.

Does not last as advertised

I have always had Michelin tires on all my vehicles. The LTX on my 2019 Equinox only has 27000 miles and the tires already need to be replaced. No where near the amount of time my other Michelin tires lased. Very disappointed. Tires were on new vehicle purchase.

Worst tires I have ever owned

Bought these tires less than two years ago. Maintained proper inflation, rotated, kept balanced and aligned. Tire technician told me last week that my tires were completely shot at less than 27,000 miles. I've never gotten so few miles from a set of tires.
