I purchased my Michelin Defender 2 radials as replacements for my unacceptable OEM tires when we purchased our new 2024 Subaru Forester, insisting that the dealer replace those tires with the much-superior Defender 2s. It caused a bit of a stir but they went along with it and we couldn't have been happier since then. Between the Ice-X 3s that we roll with during the winter months, our Forester is "Michelin-covered" year-round and for many years to come!

2003 Lexus LS430, replaced Continentals with the D2–and I am blown away at the better ride, noise, wet traction, feel… I have never felt such a difference with tires. The car sits better and has a better stance. I am a believer in Michelin Defender, the Defender2 is even better. I am very pleased with this decision 100%.

These are the best tires I've ever had in my life and it isn't even close! They are 80,000-mile tires and I have 80,000 miles on them. I'll be replacing them with the exact same tire shortly, just waiting for a day off work. I'm really in no hurry, the tires look like I could still squeeze another 5,000 miles out of them. I originally bought them because I was told they are very smooth and quiet, the complete opposite of the stock tires on my Rav4. They were correct, these tires make my SUV drive like a luxury sedan. I'm a frugal guy and these tires are well worth the investment.

I installed these tires on Mazda CX 9 2021, less than a month ago, after reading positive reviews about these tires. Disappointed, brand new tires, thumping noise at 100km/hr plus speed .Tire shop recheked it, balance it again, its better, but not the same smoothness as OEM tires Falken Ziex Ct 50. ires, balanced it again. I won't buy or recommend. Wish, could replace it with continental extreme contact.

Best tires I have ever owned. I have mainly leased in the past and OEM was never Michelin. I have worked in and around cars for a good part of my career and as an enthusiast as well, I always knew Michelin was the best. When it came time to replace all 4 on my wifes SUV, I knew there was only one brand. Handles like a dream in the rain, they absorb bumps and potholes much better than her old tires, and I feel way more confident with this rubber than other tires I have experienced. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

I replaced the factory Michelon's on my 2015 HONDA Odyssey with a new set of the same tire. Why change what has worked so well for the last 10 years! I couldn't be more pleased. They improved the handling of the vehicle...I had 65K on the last set...and the new set is smooth and quiet. I definitely will buy again.

bought defender 2 tires 2 years ago to replace primacy tires and just replaced tires on another vehicle with with defender 2 tires. Have had no trouble with first set although they are a little rougher tire on ride quality. On ice and wet roads they have provided good traction. Quality of tires seems very good Only downside is smoothness of ride is not as comfortable as the primacy tires were. Overall are a strong preforming tire

Have always been a fan of the Michelin tire. Don't know how often your customers get 100,000 miles out of their tires but I am coming up on that magical number. My Honda Accord has 195,000 miles on the odometer and the tires still have 4/32nd left of tread. They were purchased with 99,000 on the odometer, have had 3 low tire pressure warnings but never had one that left me stranded. Will recommend these to my family and friends. Tires ride smoothly and quietly. Was hoping to replace my Michelin Primacy with another set of Michelin Primacy. Old tires had plenty of tread but were getting old (summer only car with low mileage). The Defender do not corner like the Primacy. The Primacy were more performance oriented and you can tell the difference. Unfortunately the Primacy in my tire size is no longer available (225R60/16). I do not drive like a race car driver but when I made a U-turn, you could tell they didn't grip the same. Also when making a left turn with and advanced light, sometimes I can tell my tires are slipping (accelerate a little too hard for the tires). I wish the Primacy were still available in my size.

This is my 2nd set of Defender tires. The Defender 1 or original gave me more than 85k safe miles and performed expertly in snow and rain. The Defender 2 allowed my car to hydroplane in a CT flash flood on I-84 at 40 mph. The Defender 1 gave me about 2% better gas mileage.
