If you’re looking at the reviews right now and debating whether or not to get one of these, I’m going to tell you now: you’ve got nothing to lose! Mine arrived today, The emerald color in person isn’t super vibrant, and I like it a lot better, looks closer to the color in the thumbnail than the actual photo. This arrived pretty fast and it inflated easily to use pretty fast to have my toddler play with it. I’ve seen the brand named version of this couch and I’ve been looking for an alternative for awhile, the name brand takes a lot longer to ship and lately the color selection hasn’t had the most selection likely due to supply shortage. It seems even the Sam’s club version sells out often too because of how popular they are! The cover material feels like a poly-linen weave and so far everything looks fantastic! I think for the free that had not given this a good review, the zippers may have just been defective and even if that does happen to mine later on, I believe it just means I’ll use it as a sleeping mat with a sheet or a reading corner instead of toddler play.

I purchased this for my two year old son for Christmas. I had been eyeing the Nugget but just couldn’t justify the cost. A friend told me about this couch so I scooped it up for a great price on Black Friday. My son absolutely loves this and my husband and I like it because he’s no longer jumping all over our sofa. 10/10 recommend!

Where were things like this when I was a kid?! This couch was a huge hit with all three of my kids, ages ranging from 8 months to 17 years old. I actually had to buy a second set to make bigger and better forts. Pros: - Literally hours of play. It encourages creativity as well as getting kids up and moving, away from electrics, which I dig. - It’s aesthetically pleasing. - Can be used to sleep on, it’s pretty firm but better than the floor. - My 8 month old uses it as a jungle gym. It’s actually helped motivate him to climb and explore. - An easy alternative to playing outside when the weather sucks. - All 3 of my kids will play together on this. Minimal fighting, I dig this also. - A great way to wear kids out for nap time. Cons: - It took a while to ship. - I haven’t had to wash this yet so I’m not familiar with the zipper issue people are having but the zipper does seem cheap so I’m anticipating it breaking. - Stains easily. I’m too afraid to take the covers off after reading other reviews. For now I’m spot cleaning it. - Difficult to store.

We have the thin pads in a large playpen as extra padding. Our 15-month-old likes to lay on those. We also have one of the triangle pads in there and he likes to flip that around. We'll incorporate the additional pads as he gets older. I'm sure we're going to get our money's worth out of this set. It seems very durable as well.

Honestly wanted to like this as much as the original nugget, but it just doesn’t compare. If you are going to use it just as a couch or maybe a bed that’s fine but it’s just not as sturdy as the nugget for builds. Also washed the cover one time and followed the directions and the zipper broke. Would not recommend if you can buy the original nugget I would instead!

With so many of these popping up everywhere I wasn’t willing to spend $400+ I saw many negative comments on other play couch pages about these particular ones. I was hesitant to buy but it was in stock my first visit ever at Sam’s club. So I bought it. We are extremely pleased with this play couch Packaging was perfect. Began to expand right away my kids didn’t even care it wasn’t fully expanded and within a few hours it looked perfect. We got the light gray color and I love it. It kinda looks like a tweed material but isn’t it’s actually really soft. We loved it so much we recommend to a friend and she went and bought the flamingo color the next morning. It’s also a very unique pretty color. Definitely buy if you’re really wanting a play couch. My 1yo and 5yo play on it non stop. we also have other blocks that add building fun as well.

My brother in law designed his own “nugget” couch and my daughter loves it. I thought I’d buy this since she loves that so much. She spends hours climbing, jumping, sliding, Etc on this couch. I didn’t experience the issue with it puffing up to full size or the zipper issues. This is $200! It’s worth the cash just to let them have somewhere to sit. Those personalized chairs from that one big store cost $100, spend an extra hundred and let them have it for longer!

This was a great product until we went to take the cover off to wash. As we were unzipping it was giving us a hard time we just assumed it was because the foam had expanded and was to taught on the zipper however as I was zipping it up to put in the washer it refused to go back together. After 30 min of working on it, I finally got it closed. Washed it and again after opening it to air dry it was giving us issues we tried to get it back on and got most of it closed after working one side at a time taking up to 45 min per side. We are in the middle of trying to get one side back together, but I would not ever recommend this product to anyone unless they updated the covering. For how much was spent on this product for it to be this faulty is absolutely ridiculous. I'm half tempted to buy the replacement, I'm unsure if it would be worth it or just a waste of more money. I am absolutely disappointed in this product, especially since Sams Club always has quality products or dupes. I am very sad that this has been the outcome.

We got one as a gift for our kids from my SIL, ages 13,10, 2 & 3 months. We loved it so much that we bought a 2nd one barely a week later! We got Denim as a gift. ( great color for a beachy coastal look! ) & we purchased Emerald ( again, perfect for a coastal home ) only thing I can say that may be bad for some. Is the colors online and the box are not as vivid in person. But, for someone like me. That was a great thing! It looks so nice in our home in their playroom. Still fun colors but a bit muted so when put away looks nice and can see us having for years to come!

This couch is hands down better than the nugget. Very sturdy and i even like the covers better. Double brushed and hardly anything stays on them as opposed to the microfiber of the nuggets. I have a nugget that is double brushed and I still feel the explorer couch fabric is better. Great quality at a great price. If you're on the fence between this and the nugget this is your sign to get it. Your kids will thank you and you'll even find yourself lounging comfortably on it.
