My boys absolutely love their explorer sofa. We’ve had a Nugget couch for a while, and when it came time to add another, I decided to purchase this Member’s Mark version. While we have only had this one for about a month, I can say I wish we had saved the money on our first play couch. If you’re on the fence, buy this explorer sofa instead of the more expensive option.

The foam never full expanded on several of the pieces, despite doing exactly as the paperwork in the box said. It was like it was vacuum sealed, rolled up, put in the box, and then stored somewhere that was not climate controlled. The ends almost looked melted together and just couldn’t expand. Other than that, this would have been awesome. It seemed to be made well and the cover appeared to be good quality. I requested a refund and am going to return to my local club. Customer service was efficient and helpful. Hopefully I won’t have trouble returning it to the club because we got rid of the original box, but there is no way it’s going to fit back in there anyway now. I mentioned this to the customer service representative and he said it wouldn’t be a problem.

Bought as a gift for a friends kid, because my sons LOVE theirs. my friends kid loves hers too, spends all day making forts and obstacle courses. Same with my boys. After a year and a half, there is a little wear on the seam where the tag attached, but otherwise holding up good, and for how destructive my guys are, that's pretty good.

My kids have really enjoyed playing with this. The reason for the low stars is because only after a week the zipper is coming apart on the larger pieces. It’s really fun for them and great for creativity. I’m just disappointed on how it’s held up.

Earlier this year we purchased a Nugget brand sofa and my kids (range from 4-9 years old) were obsessed! With the kids fighting over it daily, I knew I wanted another one. I was ecstatic to see Sam’s Club offering one under their brand to purchase for $50 less. Comparison: MM Explorer sofa is same size as Nugget. Nice cover. MM Explorer sofa triangle pieces are inferior to Nugget triangle pieces. Foam doesn’t fill it as well, sharper angles in the foam make it less sturdy. With the Nugget-thicker rectangle piece is thicker as well as firmer. MM Explorer thicker piece is just thicker. MM Explorer sofa has fewer color options, but color options are all nice. Overall, if I have to choose, Nugget is marginally superior. My overall recommendation-save yourself the $50 and get the Member’s Mark Explorer sofa!!! I’m including the differences I saw (as someone who does own both), but my kids cannot tell the difference. They happily play with both.

We love these for our kids and have three of them. The reason I am rating a three is because the quality of the new ones has gone really down hill. We bought our 1st and 2nd about a 1.5 uears ago and decided the pick up a 3rd. We got our third and half of the pieces didnt expand corretly. No problem it happens with memory foam products some times. The corners and ended weee really hard. We exchanged it for a 4th one, and the same thing happened. Exchanged it for a 5th and same thing again, but not as bad. We were able to do the hair dryer trick and get the triangle piece and thinest flat piece to expand afyer working on them for about 30 minutes. The ones we got over a ueat ago a solid 5 out of 5. The newer ones have slipped so rating it a three. Still worth the hassel as the kids have a blast buolding forts and tumbling platforms.

The product itself is just as good as a Nugget couch! If you are on the fence about it, highly recommend getting it. I have four kids who range in age from 3-9. I ordered two of these and all four are OBSESSED. I was hesitant my older kids would like it, but they have continuously built forts and played on it, too. The item arrived later than originally scheduled, but was packaged nicely and vaccum sealed. The box is a little heavy if you are carrying upstairs but manageable for one person. Once you cut the plastic, the couch immediately begins expanding. My kids were jumping on it within 10 minutes- which the instructions say helps with the foam filling in any wrinkles it may have, faster. Another video I saw before purchasing was skeptical about the triangles fully expanding but I assure you- they will! Great product. One year warranty came with it.

Somehow after ordering, the color of the item I ordered changed. So an hour after ordering, I contacted a Sam’s (overseas) associate, and they said the order has shipped and the color can’t be changed. However, 6 days later, I received a notification the item had just been shipped. I’ve been asked about my experience 3 times, and this is the third time I’ve answered that it was not good, Nobody has ever tried to respond with a “we’re sorry, or anything. I will never order anything online from them again. Also, my membership expires in the next couple weeks, and I likely will not renew it.

The pillows/cushions come shrink wrapped so you have to wait for them to grow into their full shape. It says it may take up to 2 weeks, most of it inflated within the first 10 hrs except for the pillow. They both have one side that is crushed, I unzipped the covers thinking that would help and I saw the foam was torn on one of them. I bought 2 of these in the past and have not had any issues with tears or then inflating quickly. I’m getting concerned that these pillow will not inflate completely . They are very big yo try to return since took them out of the shrink wrap, so not sure what to do.

I bought it because i was watching my grandson fulltime who was one years old at the time. I used them as extra padding for the play area that I blocked off with two couches, foot stool, tv and shelves. When he started climbing out of the pac-n-play next to my bed during nap time, I used it to break his fall after he climbed into my bed. Now I am using it for his 1 year old sister. I lay the bifolds flat next to each other and I use the triangles to support a foldable play matt that is to big to fit the remaining space to make a slide.
