I have said this for their hamburger buns and will say the same thing for their hot dog buns, "To be honest, this isn't my go-to choice. I typically opt for these when I'm on a budget, and I usually try to steer clear of them because they tend to fall apart. However, today was different. I'm not sure if Ball Park has changed their recipe, but these buns were surprisingly much better than I remembered. They reminded me of brioche buns! They had a lovely glaze without any extra effort on our part; we just placed the hot dogs on them. They were fluffy and had a delightful flavor, reminiscent of buttery sweetness similar to Hawaiian sweetbread, and they were definitely not dry at all."

Although these hot dog rolls are ok, I don't have any Hot Dogs to go with them. I only eat Hebrew National; and you were out of the hot dogs I wanted. I can't go to the store to buy hot dogs, so now the tolls will ho bad. I'll have to throw them away. Again I am frustrated!

I was using the standard hot dog rolls but I thought I would upgrade to a better bun. These buns are truly awfull. They crumble when you try to use them and worse of all no matter how you try to open them the hinge breaks apart letting all the ingredients slip through. The Walmart brand wheat buns where great but have not been available for a long time

These weren’t the buns I’d ordered but mine had to be substituted so they gave me these. I saw the reviews, hence why I hadn’t ordered them to begin with. And the bad reviews are accurate…these buns are awful! They held up, my expiration date was weeks away, but the buns are just dry and almost break apart when you bite into it, and have absolutely no flavor. I’m not a fan of the tops of them, if you don’t like crust on your bread you probably won’t like these.

This brand used to be good. I don't know what happened, but these are terrible (and we have given them several tries over the last few months). There is way too much bread in the bun.. it's like they are using something that makes the dough rise way too much. Then the end result is a too-puffy, dry bun that literally falls apart once you put a hotdog and toppings on it. Really bad, and completely ruins the hotdog. The Great Value ones are even better than these.

I wish they would make the Ball Park Golden Hot Dog Rolls 12pk available for initial purchase. But, for some reason, they're only available as a substitute choice if the regular Ball Park Hot Dog Rolls are out of stock. Maybe they do it that way because the 2 8pks cost more that than 1 12pk. I order the regular, but I'm always hoping they're out so I can get the good ones. Maybe someone will take the time and rectify this anomaly (hint, hint) ;-)

The expiration date on the buns was 10/17/23 - about a week BEFORE we ordered them. We weren't able to use them right away and when we did tonight, 10/30, they had a very bad taste - kind of chemically. We did not get the buns before the expiry date.

☺️Don't let anyone tell you that 'all buns are created equal'! They are NOT! These however, are some of the best I buy! Always fresh and soft and these have never 'broken' on me. You know what I'm talking about! 😆They will hold your 'dog', mustard, relish, onions, chili ... and still not fall apart! Give them a try - you will be glad you did! ❤️

These were falling apart! The top was flaking off the minute it was touched, as I opened them to put the hotdog in, they started breaking in pieces. They were all I had, so I used them and they kept falling apart as I tried the eat the hotdog. They tasted fine, but they were terrible as rolls!

Nice study hotdog buns. Love to have them with my hotdogs, polish boys or whatever.
