Purchased several different colors for my husband and son , both my guys love them . True to size . Going to purchase few more colors .

I have a history of skin precancer - used it for kayaking in bright midday sun and didn't receive the usual sunburn ----I think it does have good sun protection as described. very lightweight -comfortable in FL sun/heat.

Save your money. Felt like I was melting in 72 degrees, nice breeze, and low relative humidity. I will never know if it keeps me from burning because there is no way I could wear this on a hot, sunny day. I had sweat dripping off my fingertips and down my torso on a pleasant, comfortable day. Plus, the sleeves are too long (even on the model in the picture).

My son loves these shirts. He spends every minute he can outside. He is a wildlife photographer as well as an all around outdoor lover. He started wearing these because he was having trouble with sunscreen irritating his skin and he could not be happier. He does not get hot, they have great coverage, and he only has to worry about using sunblock not the back of his neck. He is 6'3, about 150 pound and buys the L for a little extra length in the body. He could probably wear an M, but he likes the L better.
