The best , bring it back

purchased the Sales in Sam’s on Sunday Sept 22nd and the bag had a shelf lid of October 2nd. The salad was already brown on Monday Sept 23rd. Shelf life has either an incorrect date on the package or not stored properly in transit / store

Picked this up an hour ago and just opened it to find all brown and wilted lettuce. Did not look safe to eat so I threw it out. Use by date was 4 days away so it appears it wasn't stored well.

It was a pretty good salad, until, toward the end of it i realized this black stringy thing at the bottom wasn't just a strip of leaf that had wilted, but some sort of black squishy elongated bug.

Having spent 32 years in the food industry and actually selling directly to Sam's Club/Walmart for 15 years...trust me I know the package food industry. We have been buying this product for over 10 years and have been very happy with it, it is a staple we would have on the list to buy at least twice a month at SC. No more! The quality has dropped consistently over the past six months and not only does it go bad very quickly once you open it, but the last bag contained 5 end pieces that are inedible. Very disappointed, don't blame SC as much as Taylor Made....Buyer please do an audit and see for yourself!

Found three bugs instantly. I realize that small bugs can be found in some produce, but these were good size. Poor quality control. I did not inspect the whole bag, not sure if there were more. Disappointed in their cleansing process. I will avoid this brand in the future.

Bought this from Sam's 2 days ago and was going to have it for lunch today. While mixing it up in a bowl I noticed a dead fly in the salad and I ended up throwing it away in the trash. They have "Produce thoroughly washed" printed on the bag but I don't think they washed it enough. It also doesn't look like they have any kind of quality control so this will be the last time I buy any products from Taylor Farm.

If you plan on eating about two bags worth of this product, you should order or pick up four. Because by the time you get it home you'll have to throw away half of each bag due to slimy wilted lettuce. I've bought this salad mix at least a dozen times over the last year, the quality of lettuce has consistently gotten worse. Also, I've bought it on different days of the week, thinking that maybe I'm just catching it on the back end of a shipment's life cycle. does not matter, this stuff is crap . The dressing and croutons are delicious though; they're the only reason it got a second star.

We really love this salad mix for a quick dinner. We grill some seasoned chicken breasts to top this salad mix and make it it into a grilled chicken Caesar salad. It makes enough for two adult dinner salad sized portions. It's a great value and it's always fresh and tasty. We appreciate that this mix has plenty of dressing included so there are no dry lettuce pieces. Overall, this has become one of our weekly purchases and we highly recommend it for a fast and affordable dinner!

Not too happy with these I bought 2 bags on a Friday evening on Sunday evening I went to make them the first bag had turned brown and slimy I threw it in the trash and opened the 2nd bag it was literally full of stems and I was only able to get one small bowl of actual edible lettuce.
