I bought 6 of these colored light spools and put them up tonight. They are nice, bright, vibrant colors. I will need to buy one more to complete my desired area. The plastic bulb that covers the LED light has a tiny hole in it, presumably to discourage moisture and fogging, but it will also let water IN. The bulbs have a clip on them that can be used to attach it, but be warned, it is very small and fragile. If you're careful, it will slide onto a thin branch or piece of soffit, but anything thicker than a couple mm, and it'll snap off, exposing the inside of the bulb casing. I tried two different types of universal light clips, and neither worked great. The cords are also inconsistently wound. Some are very tight, and others are loose, which changes the distance between bulbs and the direction the bulb tries to point. There is also a gap halfway through the strand that you have to account for to get your spacing right. I'm not sure why it's there. These lights aren't even that long. Other than that, my main annoyance is the color pattern! Each strand starts RYBGOV, but they also end with RY! So, at every juncture, you have RYRY before the pattern continues. I only noticed one orange bulb that has a red in its place, but I didn't bother seeing if I could swap it out. There are no spare bulbs, after all. However, 1 of the 6 strands that I purchased had its color pattern completely reversed! So that's annoying. All-in-all, they are serving their purpose, and I will hopefully get a couple of seasons out of them before we splurge for permanent holiday lighting. It's an okay price point for the length and quality. But if you are particular about your lights and inconsistencies annoy you, I'd look elsewhere.

Although these lights shine nice and bright they only last a season or maybe two. I take some sets back every year

I purchased several sets of these last year, and each almost every strand went out before Christmas. I even returned some and replaced them, same thing happened.

Bought these last year, lasted a month just fine. Put out this year and within a couple weeks half of my strand is dead. Its been foggy and rainy. Not sure if water got in (despite outdoor rating) or other issue.

I bought the clear lights and they are great
