I feel totally safe with this cover on my expensive mattress. It is made from a soft material and even though it’s waterproof, it doesn’t sound crunchy when you lay in it. It was easy to put on and I think it will hold up well for a long time.

I'm glad we got The AllerEase Maximum Allergy and bedbug protector, it was easy to put on the mattress and did exactly as described. I like that it zips around the mattress so it protects it 100%. We don't have to worry about bedbugs, but it is nice knowing that there isn't all of the dander, spills etc being left behind on the mattress when we have people stay over. All I have to do is unzip it and throw it in the wash and put it back on! It's easy to clean, and I can remove and replace it by myself without help. I will be getting one for our king bed very soon since we suffer from sever allergies, hopefully this will help lessen them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very versatile, well designed, high quality mattress cover. I have allergies and sinus congestion so I used this protector to cover my mattress. The mattress cover fits the mattress perfectly. It came with instructions that helped to make it even easier to get the cover on. And it was easy to get on. I had just been using a cotton cover over the top of the mattress and not really a full protector. I think this will be a better solution to reduce my allergy and sinus symptoms. Once on the mattress, the cover simply seals out what you need it to whether that’s spills, dust, dust mites, pollen or pet dander. I am fortunate not to have bed bugs but the protector has an extra closure that seals over the top of the zipper end so anything like a bedbug is locked out. The protector is waterproof which is a great feature because one accident or something spilled would go straight through the mattress without the cover. This cover offers full protection for a mattress; it has lots of layers to keep liquids, allergens and pests out. Meanwhile, the fabric is not heavy or bulky but is lightweight, strong and durable. The fabric is also soft and waterproof without a crinkly sound or a plastic feel. I actually had to look inside the cover for the fabric care tag to see what the soft, light fabric was. The top layer of the protector is the softest layer and is made soft so it is comfortable to sleep on. It is very comfortable and also cool to sleep on under sheets. I did wash and dry the cover before placing it on the mattress. It is easy to care for and was easy to launder at home.

In less than 5 minutes, you can have a barrier from allergens and bed bugs. I am using this in my guest room, so it being washable was a must. It does not crumple under the sheets or make a rustling noise. The material also feels like it would be a good barrier against bed wetters. Highly recommended product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have dust and pet dander allergies so I was excited to try out this mattress protector. First off, it's simple enough to put on the mattress. With two people it can can be very quickly. We did stand the mattress on its end and it went on easily. Be careful zipping it up. The zipper did get caught a few times. It fit nicely, however there is some extra room so you might be able to get a mattress topper in there also.    A few things I observed on the first night of sleeping with the mattress protector on  was 1) it made me feel very warm, not something I am a huge fan of, but my husband loved it, and 2) there is a slight crinkly sound when you move around. Not a big deal, I think that will go away if we add the mattress topper back on to help fill in the protector.    I made sure to vacuum the mattress well before I put on the protector. I like that it is waterproof to protect from any accidents the little one may have when napping on our bed. I love that it can help prolong the life of our mattress.  I look forward to no more sneezing from my allergies.

It really has been too short of a time period to see how effective it will be in the long term but I have high hopes.

But other than that this is a great allerease zippered mattress protector. The pillow cover is also a nice added bonus. I do recommend

I suffer from bad allergies and was really glad to get this. It is very easy to put on your mattress. I vacuumed my mattress and box spring first to remove any dust, dander, etc. before putting the mattress protector on. Then I flipped my mattress on it's side, slid the protector on, zipped it up, and was done! It is really soft and can be used without a bottom sheet in my opinion. I would recommend this to anyone who suffers from allergies, and doesn't want to worry about bedbugs stopping by!
