This is a well-constructed mattress cover/protector that fits a variety of mattress heights, including pillow tops. The fabric is soft, synthetic, cool, hypoallergenic, washable, and noise-free (no crackling) as you move on the bed. It's moisture resistant enough to protect the mattress from an overturned glass of water. The weave is tight so it should do a good job at blocking dust mites. Unlike an elastic protector that goes onto the mattress like a fitted sheet, this protector completely covers the mattress on all sides, including the bottom. The zipper operates smoothly and there's a hook-and-loop tab at one end that covers and secures the zipper pull once the mattress is inside and the zipper is fully closed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t sure that this would fit on top of my pillowtop mattress, I also have a memory foam topper. My wife insisted it would fit so I humored her in trying to put it on, to my surprise, it actually fit! It isn’t loud and crinkly like sleeping on plastic bags and it almost seems as if my mattress is fluffier. I like being able to have something that zips everything up so I don’t have to fuss with corners popping off the edge of the mattress all the time. I really love how the memory foam topper is now protected as well, it was always a hassle cleaning spills off of it and what not. Happy with this product and would recommend!

I feel very confident that this is going to really last. I was also pleased with the fit. It was not really hard to get on either. It did take both my husband & I to get it on our bed, but fits great. I look forward to many years of protection with my new protector.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that this doesnt feel so much like the "waterproof" ones that you usually feel, its a lot softer than that material so I preferred it. I think it worked well as a mattress protector. I dont love the zippered part but it does keep the allergens out better.

I actually got two these, one for my mattress and one for my daughter's. It says it will go on a mattress up to 17" but I doubt that. My daughter's mattress is 14 1/2" and it just went over it and that was with the delivery guys holding the mattress up and helping me put it on. It is nice and encases the mattress and has a material feel to it. I use a less expensive one for the box spring that is mostly a plastic feel but did not want that on the mattress for fear that it will generate heat. The plastic ones are okay if you put them on and leave them alone but the last one I had ripped when I took it off the old mattress. It had been there a while so I guess that is to be expected. Whether this really protects the mattress is anyone's guess but it makes me feel like I've done everything I can do to protect it and keep all the nasty stuff out.

My allergies are not as bad at night or in the morning. Really easy to put on and take off. I'd never used a mattress protector before but now I'll never be without one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good quality light weight . It looks like it has great moisture barrier for medical issues you have. The material seem cooler to the body than other covers I have used. You have to remove the mattress to get the cover on is more work than necessary. I perfer to use one that works like a fitted sheet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works pretty great and it dit my mattress perfectly. Its easy to maintain and is machine washable safe. Definitely waterproof as well. I always try to goto with a waterproof material just in case anything is spilled.

I can only assume they find this material more durable, as it will have much less chance of ripping. I never had a bug or allergy problem, but when they do surface, sometimes u never know it, so its a good insurance policy....
