So I am doing all that I can to keep common allergens down in my house. When I found out how many allergens can get trapped in a mattress, especially an older mattress like mine I was appalled. And now I understand why I have a runny nose when I wake up. I really like the ease of putting this cover on my bed. Its soft and smooth and goes on easy. Then it zips up, easy as can be. It's washable and it doesn't feel hot at night, which is really important. And using this cover and keeping down mold and dust in my room has really helped my sinuses. I would definitely recommend this to my friends!

The fact that it sips around the mattress ensures that the mattress is fully protected- I don't have to worry about a corner coming off, etc. As such, it also does not bunch. I feel safe that when I am sick, sweaty, etc. this will protect the mattress. It does not impact temperature either (as in, is not super warm). With an extra set of hands, easy to install. Very happy with this purchase, beats my old mattress protector by a mile!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress cover is definitely made of the right stuff to keep dust mites and bugs in mattress and away from you. Or vice versa. It is as expected stiff and kind of crunchy and noisy. I added an extra fitted sheet to dampen sound.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does take some energy to be able to get the mattress protector all the way on, especially with queen and king sized beds. Once you get it on though, it fits snugly around your entire mattress and doesn’t leave any unsightly lumps. I’ve never experienced bedbugs before so I can’t tell you how effective it is at eliminating them. I don’t think I sneezed a lot though.

I've seen a lot of complaints about the protector being to smalI. If this protector doesn't fit your twin mattress, then you probably have a size "twin xl" mattress. It's longer. This happened to me; had to take them back for a refund. Seemed to be a quality product though.

Let me start off by saying RUN to get this protector. We just spent 800$ on a new mattress and last minute decided we needed a protector too. We have a 15 inch memory foam mattress and it fit like a glove. Yes you have to have two people zippering it but once it’s fully zipped it feels snug without feeling too tight. We have a toddler and of course week one owning the mattress he throws a cup of chocolate milk all over the bed , so now it was down to the wire on weather or not it’s actually water proof , and to no surprise it did exactly what it was said to have done. Absolutely nothing got on my brand new mattress , don’t let looks deceive because even though it is thin it is most definitely waterproof!

This one protects your entire mattress from allergens and bed bugs, and helps you stay cool throughout the night. Perfect! I will be purchasing others as back ups and for my guest bedroom as well.

I can only assume they find this material more durable, as it will have much less chance of ripping. I never had a bug or allergy problem, but when they do surface, sometimes u never know it, so its a good insurance policy....
