I'm very happy with this mattress cover. They said you need two people to put it on and it would be easier but it was easy enough with a chair and some patience. I have just had bed bugs in my apartment and am much happier now that my precious mattress is covered.

I had to have my apartment professionally exterminated twice, and there were STILL those nasty creatures in my bed. Grrr! Since I purchased this mattress protector, I haven't had any more bed bugs in my bed, and I can actually sleep at night without getting bitten! Hallelujah!

I would give this more stars but i purchased this for being "waterproof". I have a child that has not fully mastered the art of getting up in the middle of the night to use the restroom. Night %231 of having it, soaked right through into the mattress. Not happy about it. The fit, feel and lack of that "plastic" noise that you normally hear, was great.

Very difficult to put on matress. However, it was worth the hassle of getting it on. Very comfortable under the fitted sheet, cannot really even tell it is there. Keeps the bugs out completely. Bought a new $500 matress and a few weeks later bedbugs showed up. I was devastated. Matress company would not rectify the situation, so I had to figure it out. Since using the cover, I sleep like a baby.

Well first there was a weird little stain on the side of it, looked like an ink smear. I decided to ignore that just b/c I needed the cover asap. So after lifting up my mattress and wrestling this awkward thing on, the stupid zipper was stuck! Me, my husband and grown son couldn’t get it to work . So , yeah if I could do zero stars I would. Major pain in the***! Ordered a different one from Amazon . Returning this thing.

We have used this brand for a few years, mostly on pillow covers (about 10 covers). This time we bought a mattress protector because we bought a new mattress. Like all quality mattress protectors this has a half zipper to zip and the mattress slips inside the half that is enclosed (like a pocket) . Then you zip the remaining half up tight. Stick the zipper into a nice cover slot . That cover slot has an attached velcro closure to keep the zipper closed and hidden. This protector is waterproof/resistant. If you should spill something onto the bed, it protects the mattress from getting wet. The waterproofing is built in to the material, so it's nothing like the old days when that meant a thick rubber barrier, No, no, no that is not it at all. It is the thickness of the material on the underside. Just looks different, because it has a different purpose. The protector does not make any noise when you sleep and move around, as well is washable and can be dried in a dryer. It did take 2 people to put this cover on. Today's mattresses are HEAVY and deeper than they use to be. But this mattress protector has deep pockets and is able to cover very well with room left over for 13-18 inch mattress heights. (read the package I think it said up to 18 inches) This is a quality item

It helps with dust mites from the inside as well as random cat vomit from the outside. Not a single drop got through to my mattress and it was easy to clean after soaking it in hot water. No stain either! I recommended buying a size bigger than your actual mattress so its easier to slip on, otherwise its like putting on pants a size too small and just as difficult especially if you're installing it alone. 10/10

among others this is one of the best mattress protectors that you can find. it's flexible but after one year usage you'll need a duct tape it or buy a new one, 350 plus pounds on a queen size mattress and use your elbow to turn over and you toss and turn every night cuz you're targeted with directed energy weapons. you live in the hood because you're poor because you're on disability. writing an honest review while I'm surprised the old one lasted for 2 years to be honest with you I had a hole in it as soon as I went to move my mattress but then I duct taped it and then it was fine for another year.. so you're getting up to 2 years out of it and that's what's good that's you know I mean... I definitely would recommend this among others..

I have had this encasement on my queen size bed for about a month. I washed it when I first got it and put it on my new mattress. This item is waterproof and works great with my adjustable base. There hasn’t been any tearing or ripping due to the adjustable base. Haven’t had any allergy flareups or breathing difficulty since installing this. The only con is I wish it came in other colors or maybe a quilted or embossed top layer. The plain white isn’t very attractive, although you don’t see it through the sheets. lol Would highly recommend.

So many reviews mention this cover being noisy but honestly I wonder if those people just have the cover on upside down or something because there is zero sound from movement with this cover. I was able to put this on my queen sized 16” deep mattress with the help of an 8 year old. It wasn’t easy, but it wasn’t terribly difficult either. I love that this cover encases the whole mattress and zips shut.
