Full size mattress protector does not fit a full size mattress

This product is 60 x 80 x 12. It says that it fits a queen size mattress of up to 17", but that is false advertising.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the idea of this mattress protector for the ability to seal the mattress in, but what I didn't realize was the work that would go into putting int in place, which requires the mattress to be lifted off the bed in order for the protector to be zipped around it. This means any time it needs to be washed, the whole process has to be repeated, which is just too much for me. It also had a plastic crinkle sound to it due to the backing. I wasn't a fan, but for someone who doesn't need to change the mattress protector frequently or is able to layer up, it might be a good option.

An absolute pain in the rear to get on and off! We put this on my young son's bed to protect against accidents. Everytime it gets wet I have to completely uncase the mattress because the soft touch top gets wet too. Now that I have washed it a few times it is not fully waterproof either. The zipper is separating from the cover causing holes in the side. And did mention it is insaney difficult to get on and off!?! I bought this in February and used for 5 months. Garbage.
