When Walmart started carrying this brand of tartar sauce, I was so happy because it brought back great memories. I use it a lot, especially in the summer time when we grill out but don't get me wrong. I use this year round too. I use it with shrimp too. I don't like other brands of tartar sauce because they taste too much like mayonnaise which I don't like. In my opinion, this is definitely a much higher caliber of tartar sauces. You can't go wrong buy this.

My family has been using this restaurant brand for DECADES!! Like over half a century! They even had dates at a local restaurant when they were younger, before they married %26 used to buy it at the restaurant, when we would have a dinner or lunch at a nearby location. However, that location closed due to bad management %26 has never reopened. There are still other locations that we now occasionally frequent - it's just that there are no more Frisch's that's less than 2 miles away anymore or on the way home from work! So glad it's in stores now %26 at a reasonable retail. My dad loves to slather this on all of his hamburgers - no matter where his hamburger or cheeseburger is from - this will be spread onto %26 into the bun of that sandwich! My mom loves it too. She's not as big on cheeseburgers or hamburgers, but she does like fish sandwiches. Even though she's now old enough that she doesn't have to follow the rules for fish %26 fasting on Fridays during the lenten season, she still has even more fish sandwiches or fried fish meals %26 uses the Frisch's tartar sauce - even if the fish isn't from Frisch's!

One of my favorite condiments to use especially with fish or French fries. Always loved Frischs tartar sauce.

This is the best! I remember eating this at Frisch's Big Boy years ago. I was so happy to find it at Walmart. It still taste's great after all of these years! So happy I found it. Great value for the money.

Cheaper to buy this product than get a Big Boy at a Frischs

Best tartar sauce in the world. I grew up eating this brand. Good as a dip, delicious on hamburgers, French fries, even chicken.

I received the tartar Sauce April 8, 2026 and it has a BEST BY date July 20, 2026….. the Best by date should be longer

This is doubled the price! This Tartar sauce is $6 at Meijer. That's the only reason why I gave it a one-star other than that the taste is excellent but I would never buy it from here ever again. If Walmart doesn't carry it maybe you need to look into putting this on your shelves because $12 for some tartar sauce is ridiculous. PLEASE stock this brand!!!

not even close to what is should be. went to frisches just 2 weeks ago to make sure i wasn't tripping. it doesn't even taste the same as what's in the restaurant. very disappointed
