I came across these MM whole chicken while planning a family holiday cookout. My Hubby wanted to smoke whole chickens, and when we started purchasing, the price for 8 was a little shocking from our local store. Sams came through with a much more reasonable price, we could drop by and have them brought right out to us on pickup, and our wallet didn’t sting quite as much. I will confess that I have had issues with some WM/Sams chicken breast’s in the past…at times randomly stringy, tough, or weirdly textured. I did have some concerns that these would present the same problems. However, they cooked up nicely, and were tender and juicy. They are now our go to for whole chickens.

I bought this on Thursday and cooked it today ( Saturday). I cooked it at 375 degrees for about 1 hour and 20 minutes. I sprayed olive oil on it first then I sprinkled some of everything bagel on it...delicious. Very moist and not dry at all. Very happy.

Wow - this chicken is delicious and moist. I roasted it in the oven and it was so delicious. There was not allot of excess fat and the fatty skin some grocery store sells. I am excited to smoke the other chicken to see how good it is going to taste. I definitely will be buying these again!!!

These chickens have been consistently flavorful and a good price.

They call this the "wholesome" chicken. Excellent quality and freshness. It comes in a 2-pack. Each chicken weighed around five pounds. I roasted one chicken in the oven and air fried the other. Both came out tender and juicy with a golden brown crispy skin.

I bought this chicken before Thanksgiving so that I could make broth. I roasted the chickens and pulled the meat. I ended up using the meat for salad AND soup for my family of 10, and I used the bones to make a healthy homemade broth for all of my Thanksgiving dishes. Great value!!

He was just disgusting. I couldn't eat it.
