There is a mat cover for it that stays on while playing but can come off to clean easily or to rearrange the blocks. Yes, you can move the foam pieces to create different styles of the gym piece assembly to create new shapes of the gym. This is a great toy.

It has a comfy foam-filled pieces, a base layer, two triangle wedges, and a comfort layer. Whether they want to be actively engaged or just relax, kids can create their own unique play space. It is great for pretend play, read a favorite book, or create a secret clubhouse just for friends. The triangle wedges can be used as a base for wherever their adventures may take them or as backrests anyway they want to use it.It is great for bedroom sleepovers or tucked into a playroom. Kids can use the triangle pieces as slides too for that extra bit of fun. So, possibilities are endless and a great way to stay entertained in the house too.

With these mini “couches” they can have all the space they want and not fight. They can also join forces to use their mats to create a fort together. All around fun times!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids, ages 4 & 6, have been having a ball playing with the members mark kids explorer play gym! The gym comes tightly compressed and packed in the box which expands upon opening. Instructions state it takes up to 48 hours although all but 1 cushion was fully expanded within 1 day. Even after 48 hours, one of the triangle pieces was still not expanding, so I took it out of the cover and by the morning it too was fully expanded. The gym comes with 1 base (2 cushions sewn together), 2 stair sets and 2 wedges. The wedges have a faux leather texture on the wide end which make them perfect for sliding. Even though the cushions are solid and hold quite a bit of weight, they are fairly light which makes it easy even for my 4 year old to lift and move them around. The cushions can be configured into tons of different options including a small couch, slide, tower or a fort. As a parent, I love that the covers are removable and machine washable which make keeping it clean such a breeze. I found them quite easy to put back in the cover and zipper up as well. My kids love having their own special soft spot where they can both chill out or rough house with each other without getting hurt on sharp edges. It seems to be a really durable material and of good quality so I see this lasting a long time!

I liked the quality, the way they are made, the pillows are quite voluminous, soft, the covers are removable and can be washed separately. For a kid's room, this is a great solution, children like to play with them, sit or relax on them. Looks cool, love the color. This is a great gift and everyone will love it.

You can do so many things with this gym. We have built forts, took naps on it, turn into a couch to watch movies, slide down and many more things. The Member's Mark Kid's Explorer Play Gym will get endless amounts of play. I unboxed this jim and within two hours my kids were already playing on it. It didn't fully expand for the full forty eight hours, But they were still able to use it during that time. There's so many different ways that it could be set up. The material is very soft, There is a side of the triangle pieces that is more of a faux leather like material and it makes it easy to slide down. My youngest 2 kids which are 18 months and 7 years old play with us thing for hours everyday. We love it and you will too.

Upon opening, the pieces seemed kind of thin, but once it set for a day or so, it sure did grow! The pieces are so much more thick than we expected, in the best way. The cushions are so comfortable, even for us adults when playing with our daughter. The covers of each piece are so easy to remove and clean, and go back on with much ease. My husband can get it all back together in just a few minutes. I love how many different setups we can get with all the pieces. My daughter LOVES trying new ways to make tents, couches, chairs, etc. We have taken the sofa pieces outside during warm weather and it gives extra spots for kids to sit when we have company over as well. As I said, it washes so easily if it gets dirty being outside. We just love this thing!!
