It's hard to mount cans and takes longer than a normal opener. It couldn't open one can and instead started shredding the can's metal and spreading the shavings around.

I opened 1 can off the base,and it didn’t cut below the rim ,for a safe smooth edge.The edge wasn't smooth at all.It somehow bent the top edge of the can ,all the way around the can,and left not only sharp edges,but fine metal shavings.
