I really like this flavor and will continue to buy it. Highly recommend, I haven’t had any odd tastes or separation. I bought mine in a Dallas Sams, not online.

At first sip, the flavor seemed rather flat to me...i.e., shy of the root beer flavor which I've come to know and love. Luckily, I happen to have Root Beer Extract on hand! Now I add just a little bit of the extract (1/4 to 1/2 tsp) to each bottle of Premier's Root Beer Float Protein Shake. I shake the bottle, and...mmmm...delicious!!! I know everyone has a different sense of taste, so this applies to my own. My granddaughter loves this new Protein Shake exactly as formulated! My daughter loves it either way. We drink it at room temperature, cool out of the frig, or freeze it and drink it slushy as it melts. ...

It is absolutely the best tasting protein shake I have ever tasted! This is absolutely worth taking lactase supplements for. Please make it available all the time!

I gave it a 4 star just because I would give any protein shakes that tasted good that because of the smell. They all smell horrid. If I drink from a staw I don't get the smell as much, but the smell almost turns me aways from drinking them. You should try making other shake flavors like dreamsicle or banana cream, or idk.

I have been consuming premier protein shakes for years and many are simply to sweet for me, but this one is really good, my favorite and I have tried all except pumpkin. I really would love to have this one available on a regular basis.

The very nice person who answered the phone said it is reallly only available for a limited time, apparently they see it as a summer flavor. If I remember correctly, it will be back in May.

But I was let down with the flavor. To me it didn't taste like rootbeer at all. I was bummed. I will still drink them, just wish I could taste the rootbeer.

It does have a bit of a root beer float taste but its lacking. However, I have never had a diet root beer float before so it might be more similar tasting to that. It's not horrible and I will finish the 12 pack I bought. I at least enjoy that it's a different flavor so I don't get sick of the same flavors over and over again. It's a 50/50 if I would recommend.

This shake tastes just like a melted root beer float, especially when frozen or on ice. So good! Stocked up incase they discontinue :) Side note - when I was on the pre-op diet and was using these shakes as a meal replacement I lost 15 pounds in 2 weeks and wasn't really hungry at all!
Would love to see it as a permanent flavor

The clumps literally make me gag every time I get one! I've tried so hard to get past it and drink what I bought. But it's a struggle. It does offer a good amount of protein though, so I gave it a 2 star for that.

It's one of my favorites and I just bought 10 of them! I have been trying to lose weight without drinking root beer soda. This is a great substitute to satisfy the craving and a good amount of protein.

The root beer flavor is only present when you first taste it. Then it turns into a strange vanilla flavor. The ending and the aftertaste is straight up Pepto Bismol - the thick pink kind. I couldn't even finish one shake. I will stick to Caffe Latte and Caramel

Other flavors are fine but this apparently has some artificial sweetener that upset my stomach plus a whole dose of lactose.

Woth Premier Protein I can easy get my 150gms in everyday. It is the perfect supplement to my fresh food diet. I Only wish rootbeer float wasn't going away, and I can no longer access favorite flavor, bananas and cream. Still, there are no Bad flavors woth Premier.

My dietician suggested the Premier Protein as I have tried many other replacement shake brands that I just can't tolerate. The root beer flavor is the BEST I have ever tried, and I have tried MANY other brands and flavors. My dietitian is now saying I can't get this flavor any more - PLEASE, PLEASE bring it back! It is delicious! It is also one of the only brand flavors I've been able to drink.

The root beer float is my personal favorite. This time when I opened the caps there was a thick congealed layer at the rim. It was on the liquid line, and on the cap. I shook the bottles vigorously but the thickened portion was still evident as I drank the bottles. This thankfully has not happened in any other flavor. My coworker has taken to straining her rootbeer float flavor through a tea strainer to remove the lumps. My bottles do not expire until next year, so freshness is not an issue.
