Repeat customer

Just adopted a 3600. My buddy saw how nice my older Westinghouse 6500 generator worked, that he went and got the same 3600 for his camper. I saw that his was nice and it's dual fuel, which I couldn't pass up. They do great. I like the features. Now, just need to break in my new one. HR highly recommended

Great features. Easy startup.

After a few recent power outages ranging from 8 to 21 hours I decided it was time to shop for a generator. Researched many brands. Westinghouse seemed to have the features I was looking for, cheaper than other brands and had good reviews. Unboxing and setup was easy with the owner's manual. Generator started right up with a push of the start button. Ran it for the break in randomly connecting some items which it powered no problem. So my first impression is excellent. Hopefully that remains the same when I really do need it.

So far it works great, only had a couple weeks.

I'm using to rebuild an old cabin on the creek since my mobile home burned down at end of January. It has performed well for me running saws, leaf blowers, and air conditioner in my camper. Especially like the remote control which will save on power and on my old legs. Would recommend highly.

Works well so far

I've only had this for a little longer than a week but it looks to work well. Setup wasn't too difficult. It ran right away and the remote start/stop works well too. On the down side, I didn't do enough research to make sure this model would work for everything in my house. For some things like my well pump, I needed to have a model that runs on 240v, whereas this model only does 120v. So if you were to have an electrician install a 30amp connection to your breaker box they'll tell you that you must turn off any 240v breakers first. I also wasn't thrilled with the fact that shipping wasn't very clean. I got the item quickly, but there were dents and scratches on the corners of the cage bars. Nothing that impacted the function of the generator, but when you spend this kind of money you expect it to look new.

Great little generator

I previously owned an old mcculloch generator,so any generator was going to be a step up. I couldn't be happier with my westinghouse wgen3600df. It's sturdy, well made starts easy with remote, push button and pull string. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend to anyone.

Just what we were looking for

We have been wanting to get a generator for awhile now but could not find one that had the power and features we wanted without costing too much. This is a bit heavier than I would have liked since I'm a smaller woman but my husband and I can move it just fine the way they have built it. The wheels then make it easy to move. The one thing they need to fix is the wire on the starter needs to be a bit longer, it is very tight. Looking forward to using this camping this summer.

Packed with features Dual Fuel!

Nice unit to have, well built looks like Westinghouse really thought of everything. Even a battery power supply was included with it. Remote start is so cool and I tested the battery before charging it and it was fully charged (Not neglected) . Wheels are solid so is nice to know I won't have to drag the unit around with a Flat.

Super easy setup and all parts included

Last winter our power went out for some unexpectedly long periods of time, so we decided having a small backup generator available to run space heaters and other necessities would be a good idea. Because it might sit for a long time, dual fuel was a must have feature. After reading lots of reviews we went with the Westinghouse and we couldn't be happier. Of particular note was that they included the connection line for the propane tank and a bottle of engine oil, so out of the box you have everything you need. Instructions are very clear, and our unit started up on the first try.

Looks great

We bought this generator Aug 30, because of illness , we have used it yet. We plan on starting it up this weekend. It arrived a few days earlier than expected. We like the fact that you can use propane or gas. Few years ago, we had one that used only gas. During the hurricane, we had a hard time finding gas.

Nice generator

If you're in the market for a generator that promises reliability, efficiency, and the flexibility of dual fuel, the Westinghouse WGENT36000DFCV stands out as a robust choice. Here's why it's earned its place in my toolkit: **Dual Fuel Versatility:** One of the standout features of this generator is its ability to run on both gasoline and propane. This dual-fuel capability not only offers a cost-effective alternative but also provides peace of mind during fuel shortages. Switching between fuels is seamless, and the performance drop when using propane is negligible, making it a versatile powerhouse for various scenarios. **Build Quality and Durability:** Westinghouse's reputation for sturdy construction holds true with the WGENT36000DFCV. The generator feels solid, thanks to its cast iron sleeve and heavy-duty frame. This isn't just a generator; it's an investment in durability. The design, including the ergonomic handles and wheels, makes it surprisingly portable for its power class, though it's still a beast to move around, but that's to be expected with its robust build. **Performance:** With a peak output of 4,650 watts on gasoline and a running wattage of 3,600, this generator can handle most household essentials during outages or power heavy tools at job sites. The runtime on a full tank is impressive, offering hours of continuous power, which is crucial during extended power cuts or long days on the job. **User Experience:** Starting this beast is straightforward with options for electric, remote, or manual pull start. The inclusion of a VFT Data Center is a nice touch, providing real-time data on the generator's status, though navigating through the tiny mode button can be a bit of a challenge. However, once you get the hang of it, it's a feature you'll appreciate for maintenance and efficiency tracking. **Noise Level:** While not the quietest in its category, the noise level at 69 dBA is manageable for most uses, especially if you're not too concerned about noise or plan to use it in an area where noise isn't a significant issue. For those needing silence, this might not be your top pick, but for functionality over quietness, it performs admirably. **Conclusion:** The Westinghouse WGENT36000DFCV generator is a powerhouse of reliability and versatility. It's not just about having power; it's about having the right power for the job, whether that's emergency backup or powering through a construction day. If you're looking for a generator that combines American engineering with practical design, this model ticks all the boxes. It's a bit of a heavyweight, but for the power and features it offers, it's a worthy companion for anyone serious about their power needs.
