Exactly what we were looking for!

This is exactly the type of generator we were looking for. We specifically like the dual fuel feature, and the wheel-barrel-type portability allows us to move it to anywhere we like. We lose power occasionally where we live, and this generator will support us nicely.

Bit tough on us old guys

Was a bit challenging to get the oil inserted. The cap is not easy to thread and the oil container provided had more oil than the engine properly needs. I ran it on propane with no issues. It started readily and ran well. Works fine. It is a bit heavy, but then it provides a lot of output.

WGen3600DFcv

Arrived on-time. Unboxed and followed manual. Had it ready to go in about 10 mins. Started right up with no issues. Haven't applied any serious load to it yet but seems to be working as expected. Don't forget to do the 5-hour run-in time before applying a load. I'd recommend buying the wheel kit of not included.

I bought this item a week ago and will be installing the 140567 - High Altitude Carburetor Kit and the 140560 High Altitude Regulator Kit (Elevation 6300). The High Altitude Carburetor Kit was a different part number than manual suggests but service@wpowereq.com helped me get the right one. Very nice generator, will be put to use soon for our RV.

Dual Fuel FTW!

How cool is it to be able to run propane or gas! I love the flexibility. This is a well made unit and so glad I went with the quality of Westinghouse over a cheaper no-name brand. This unit will be a life saver during the possibly eminent zombie outbreak. Thank you guys for a great product!

Easy setup and start

Bought this as insurance for power failures at home. The unit was easy to setup - the rollcage makes it easy to tilt and roll when you need access to the underside (to install the feet and wheels). Adding oil is not convenient and a better location for an oil-add opening would be helpful. I did a trial run with propane and it started in a few seconds using the remote start. It runs smoothly but I have not had it under load yet.

What a relief!

I live in San Antonio Tx. During the winter time power always goes out. It's a huge stress on my two special needs kids. How the stress level has dropped knowing that we will have some power. It's was easy to set up. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Now we are ready if the power goes out.

Lots of bang for the buck

Bought this after 5 days of no power due to storm. Considering I'm a incredibly bad mechanic 4 screws and two pins later she was "fully assembled". The remote start fob and included oil and assembly tools are great touchs. I give a 4 star because getting to the oil into the machine was difficult. If you have small hands getting the cap off is difficult because finding leverage to get to the part. Also the included funnel barely clears the body and gets to a 45% angle making filing again difficult. There is nothing I see that says the specific amount of oil needed for this device I just assumed they would not send me more than I need but put the whole bottle in and as I was fighting the cap back on the oil leaked onto my garage floor. Lastly it says it's "super quiet". While I've heard others I'm my neighbor with incredibly loud generators this is far from quiet. I'll see when I actually use it how bad it is inside my house but I did NOT want to be that guy who has a generator that sounds like a jet engine.

Beat up on arrival, but well equipped.

I haven't used it to power much yet, but I'm happy with the accessories that were included to get it set up and started, the features it includes, and the good build quality of the generator itself. The downside was that it had some frame bends on arrival which appear to be totally cosmetic in nature. Nevertheless, it fired right up once hooked up properly. It even has the necessary hose for running propane, a battery charger, and tools included. I didn't feel like I bought a product that was meant to be a "congrats, you're on your own now!"

Easy to handle, simple portable generator

I bought this a few weeks ago as a back up generator for hurricane power outages. I am not experienced with generators. The owner's manual is clear and easy to follow. The weight of the generator with the wheels is easy to maneuver. The preponderance of favorable reviews was persuasive.
