Heavy box, use two people to maneuver to a place that has 3 times the size of the box to assemble. I had it completely assembled in thirty minutes by myself. The longest part was lining up the holes on the support braces to put a pin into, for each shelve there's four braces with two pins each. I do have a background in pallet rack installation, so familiarity was certainly on my side. Expertise is not necessary for assembly of this simple, but strong rack. Just be sure to read instructions and use a helper.

It took 2 of us with a mallet an hour to put together. The slats cannot be anchored with the pins because the holes are not properly drilled. One post was bent so we struggled to get it assembled. It's up. Seems sturdy enough. The price was great. It's really heavy so we were trying to make it work instead of returning it.

Heavy duty, easy to assemble and decent price compared to "name brand products". Don't care to pay for a name. Want to pay for quality. Ordered for delivery because we needed a few. Only issue was boxes were totally destroyed when they arrived due to shipping.

If I was rating this storage rack based on truth in advertising, it would be 3-stars at best. However, it's still a decent shelf system. This same shelf sells for $300 - $350 at other stores so it's a great deal at Sam's Club for $200. It seems sturdy enough to hold my gas cans and propane tanks so it'll work fine in my shop. Just understand that this shelf is industrial only in appearance.

Ordered three of these units on-line for garage storage and had them shipped. They had been out of stock at the local clubs. Arrived within a week. Quality was good for the price and the assembly was very intuitive. A couple of the shelving grates had minor bends in them, but those didn't effect the functionality of the shelving. Overall very pleased with the purchase.

We purchased 3 of these shelves for our application but it has not turned out quite like we had hoped. This shelf is very sturdy and seems to be well made. The box (and assembled item) is heavy and requires a helper. But, assembly was very straightforward and did not require too much effort. The powder coat paint seems to be resistent to scratches. The size is very ample and has the potential of enabling more efficient storage of garage, household and numerous other items. There are provisions for attaching casters if there is a need for the shelves to be easily maneuvered. However, the wire screen shelving material does not seem to be on par with the rest of the structure. It deflects very easily making it difficult to utilize the entire depth of the shelf. It also does not permit the storage of small items or items containing things that get caught on the wire screen. We have had to supplement by adding plywood on top of the wire and/or bearing the expense of additional storage containers - costs that we would have liked to otherwise avoid. In this respect, the shelves are not quite what we would have preferred.

We first bought two heavy duty storage shelves (the next one up from this one) and put them in our basement a couple years ago. Those are Great shelves too. We now needed one more and decide to buy this one because the price was some less. The first shelves we bought were so heavy duty that it was really a waste to put them in our basement for boxes of decorations, sports equipment, food & house items. This shelf is the best for basement storage!!!! The first two we got we could of put tires, cement blocks & tools on them & would of been great for garage items. This one won’t disappoint if you don’t overload!! It will last for a very long time, if not longer!!!

I purchased (4) of these units to organize my storage center. Let me tell you this is by far the nicest and most affordable shelving you can get. Assembly is a breeze with NO tools required. The fit and finish are top notch. Finished product looks amazing and provides great use of the vertical space. I looked at others before deciding to go this route and they all had a ton of small nuts and bolts for assembling and some of them the shelves came in two pieces. Not here this unit has the two uprights, eight shelf supports that lock in place with gravity and 16 crossmembers that lock in place with pins, then you throw the full size wire rack shelf on top and bang your done. Your getting commercial grade shelving at a bargain price.

These shelves are excellent value for money. They are heavy duty, very easy to assemble and have really strong wire shelving and crosspieces to support the heaviest items. Would not hesitate to buy again and recommend to friends. The only down side to the product is that although they are very well packaged, the package itself is very heavy and I would recommend having help to move them to where you plan to use them for assembly. Great product.

So sturdy and easy to put together. Really good quality. The only problem is that people pick them up and move them by the nylon straps which often bends part of the shelving and makes it very hard to put together. This is not the manufacturer’s fault. It’s because of the way that they are handled.
