Just bought my third one of these for basement storage. This one is a different color than the prior two. Package says black, but this one is silver/grey. Not a huge deal, but somewhat annoyed it doesn't match my other two and is incorrectly advertised as black.

Compared to a similar product like shelves from Edsal, these units are not as sturdy. For example, the Edsal wire shelf inserts have double wire at the unsupported edges while the Sam's shelves have just a single top wire. But the Sam's shelves are significantly cheaper. If you really need heavy duty shelves, I'd spend the extra money on a different brand. But if you're a homeowner with only moderately heavy stuff to store, these should be fine and even at the new, higher price, will save you money.

I bought one this week. Had my brother over today to help me get it out the car and up in shed. Unpacked all the pieces and the last side support was welded crooked. Hoped it would work anyway—-not. I am sure when Bud welded it he knew it was crooked, but he sent it on down the line. Took it back to Sam and you guessed it, they were out. Now I have all this stuff out of the shed and no shelf. I will go get another ad they have 17 on order, but Bud ruined my day!

I would drop 1/2 star for 1 piece that was bent but I fixed it and kinda loose on rack system that sits on supports.. I get how it works, it's designed to not let it bend outward with the pins and the wire shelf inset but little flimsy.. In contrast the ones similar from CC are more money but heavier duty as I have both.. But for what you get and using it for in a garage and I have a lot of heavy items on it and it is working and looking beautiful, I'd say this one from Sam's is the better choice.. Pickup was super easy and the guys help me load out back.. Thanks

I had been waiting for several months for the Husky shelving to go on sale at Home Depot but it never did. Then I found the Members Mark. Let me tell you this shelving is top notch in quality and the price can't be beat. I bought one earlier this week, and liked it so much, I bought another one last night. Very easy to put together, no tools needed (manual says rubber mallet but I did it all with my girly hands, so you can too!). The ability to stack so much vertically is really going to clean the basement up nice!

Had been looking at these for use in my barn, found them on sale for $99/ea so I got two. Not only are these very solid, they are very easy to assemble relative to other shelving units. Getting ready to buy a few more for another project, wish I'd gotten more at the sale price.

after going through a headache of buying and returning 2 defective husky brand storage shelf which weighs ~130lb, i was kind of nervous about buying this unit. to my surprise it was so much easier to assemble and paid much less for a great product. i'm glad i bought this instead.

Let me start by saying that I am not mechanically gifted at all, so I was hesitant to get this because I thought I wouldn’t be able to put it together. Let me tell you, I’m a female, and my 13 year old daughter and I put this together by ourselves in about 15 minutes! I was shocked how easy it was to put together. This item says no tools required but I had to use a rubber mallet on a few corners because I’m not super strong to just push them in. But a man would have no trouble using no tools. I would definitely get another one of these, should the need arise.

This seems sturdy and well built. It took two of us to put it together. I think it was bent a little as I had trouble with the bottom rail not lining up from one end to the other. Once I got that installed everything went more or less ok. There are better looking units at different places for sale but for the price this is good. .

We just bought two and it helped our garage so much and we still have space! We did attach them to each other and had an extra end piece from the end. I'm not sure if we should have done that but I just thought it made it more secure. I also built the second one with the cross bars as I went and it was easier to assemble than the first.
