- 1 out of 5 stars review7/13/2024Bought these tires for 2013 Prius. Get more rain than snow now in the northeast so thought I would give them a try. Worse decision ever. Now I have been buying Michelin tires for a long time, but these are so noisy. I thought I had a muffler problem then realized it was the tires. Sounds like I'm riding in a tank. As far a driving preferred the pilot sport. Would not recommend for a Prius.
Noisiest tires Ever

Now I Cruze right through everything. Great snow performance as well and I would even say have better traction than the snow tires I had on before. Also, reduced a lot of the road noise I had with performance tires. Traction in dry conditions is also great as well.
Great all seasonTire
KarenOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 3 out of 5 stars review4/4/2022I recently purchased a set for my 2015 Kia Soul and quickly learned how heavy and mileage sapping they are on a small car with limited horsepower. I now understand why the salesman was pushing them so hard, they must not be selling very well. At the recent price of gas, this is hard to swallow. I'm not impressed
Horrible gas mileage

I put Snow tires on the vehicle last winter and changed them back to these tires last spring. I have driven on them for two summers for 21K miles. I am having them put my snow tires back on now, and these tires are at 2/32", so they will not put them back on again next spring. I asked about the mileage warranty and was told that Michelin told them it is half the stated value because the tire is on an EV vehicle. That the tire is not made for EV vehicles. This information is not on any documentation that I can find. Their website says, "Michelin is the best in inclement all-weather performance on EVs." I got a third of the mileage that Michelin claims these tires should last. I feel cheated.
Did not last

These tires were chosen after reading many on-line reviews of various 3 season tires. These tires have a very agressive tread. I jokingly refer to them as 'tractor tires'. However these are great in rain, especially down pours as the tread design sheds the water easily giving the tires excellent grip in the wet. They also give confidence on gravel or dirt roads, gripping the road surface without sliding. On dry pavement they run smooth and quiet creating a comfortable ride mitigating most imperfections in the road surfaces. They are also quite good in early autumn snow before the winter tires get installed. Very happy with these 3 season tires.
3 Season Tire Replacement
Arran52Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/19/2022Purchased in Sept 2021. Very nice ride for 2019 Forester. Tires have howling noise at 25-35 mph then noise goes away with deeper tread noise. Dealer insists it is tires and not car. Overall very happy except for the around town howling noise. Have same tires on another 2015 Forester and noise is barely audible.
Nice Tire Some Noise
KenOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 1 out of 5 stars review6/10/2025These Tires are being pushed as Wonderful, and were hyped by the Dealer, and were in Short Supply. Got a set, had them Mounted. Car previously had Michelin Premier LTXs, and had about 75,000km on them, and were down to 4.5/16 in, and Winter was upon us. The Old Tires, while they would spin when in 2wd, did surprisingly well in awd. In fact, I didn't notice any difference between them and the CC2s in AWD, 2WD was better with the CC2s. What I didn't like was that the Fuel Economy went in the Toilet. The Old Tires were giving me, on average 9.6liters/100km, the CC2s average at best 11.8liters/100km, that is about a 20% less fuel Economy. In city driving, that number shoots up to 14liters/100km. After 6 months of these Gas Guzzlers, and a Nail ...
Horrible Tire, unless you like a big loss of Fuel Economy
I HATE these TiresOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 1 out of 5 stars review1/27/2024I bought these in September 2023 and was so excited to get them....heck even michelin makes them out to be the greatest thing since sliced bread but there's no mention of rolling resistance and rightfully so. Dropped my MPG so much that I had to return them and just to think this is the second generation with an improvement in rolling resistance I sure would hate to know what the previous generation was like. Michelin perhaps on the 3rd generation you can greatly lower the rolling resistance and than claim them to be the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Bad MPG

Nice ride
DavidOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 1 out of 5 stars review2/9/2025Bought these as an alternative to snow tires since the reviews said they were good in the snow. They are absolute garbage in the snow. I would say the same as an all season and now I need to go buy snows as I don't feel safe driving in the snow with them. Otherwise happy in other conditions but being in Canada, I really wanted them to be snow worthy.
NOT GOOD IN THE SNOW!
